I used to give up chocolate as a child so when I had that first Easter egg after lent it was top notch stuff.

I have no idea what I'm doing this year or if I'll bother..

Why not try to bother? It really does help you to deny yourself a few of your normal routines. I'm giving up coffee and beer, and hopefully I can finally kick some health issues along the way. That's not my only reason though.
