E-6B upgrades

A few weeks ago, I tracked an E-6B over Bakersfield. It spent hours flying around the area, and even had tankers nearby. It was seen there over the course of several days.

It's been announced finally that they were doing flutter and aerodynamic tests of a major communications upgrade. The upgrade includes three new fairings, two spine mounted, and one under the belly. The upper antenna are for a new SATCOM system, while the bottom is for the Multi Role Tactical Common Data Link (MR-TCDL)
