i am just stumbling on this story and noticed it is quite old, but the inquest has found that the conspiracy theorist vomited black fluid before he died, now i know there are some conspiracy theories out there about a mysterious black goo.
I couldn't find if anyone had wrote about this inquests findings so i will keep this short,
here is a snippet of what i have read so far....

The death earlier this year of Max Spiers, a British Ufologist, has continued to prompt intense speculation among conspiracy theorists, as an inquest in Kent this week heard he "vomited two litres of black fluid" shortly before he died.

Spiers, 39, originally from Canterbury, was found dead at an friend's apartment in Warsaw in July.

Local authorities initially stated he had died from natural causes – but his mother Vanessa Bates approached the media to express doubts over the verdict.

As an inquest into Mr Spiers' death opened in Canterbury last Monday, Mrs Bates told reporters: “It’s been a long time coming, but I’m just relieved that at last something is happening and there is a proper investigation and inquest."

In a statement, coroner’s investigations officer Caroline O’Donnell told the inquest: “Mr Spiers became ill with a high temperature and was weak."

he was investigating different types of CTs, Black magic etc.

This story could be an episode in the Xfiles.....

He was due to speak at a conference in July where it is believed he was going to expose black magic and conspiracies related to celebrities and politicians.

It was ruled by Polish authorities that he died from natural causes despite no post-mortem examination being carried out – a post-mortem at Margate QEQM Hospital, Kent, was unable to determine how he died.

An inquest at Canterbury Coroners opened in December after his body was repatriated.

His mum and hundreds of others believe his investigations into UFOs and government cover-ups may have had something to do with his mysterious death.

He was found dead after spewing black liquid – which his family claim is proof he was murdered for knowing too much.

Mum Vanessa Bates said: “He was making a name for himself in the world of conspiracy theorists and had been invited to speak at a conference in Poland in July.

“He was staying with a woman who he had not known for long and she told me how she found him dead on the sofa.

“But I think Max had been digging in some dark places and I fear that somebody wanted him dead.”

I am surprised this sort of story hasn't had much attention on ATS

He may have had an illness he was unaware of, blood that is vomited can appear black in color if it has been sitting there for a while. If it was an acute issue he would have been in severe pain and the blood would be normal color.
Either way, interesting story.

It's the whole Amach black goo thingy. Many of it is just too unbelievable for me. It goes back to the falklands and BP oilspill.

But Max Spiers was indeed involved with many wierd things when he died the Pizzagate was at his highest. And he was investigating pedofilia in the army me was told dont know if that is true though.

I've been to many death scenes, more than I can count.

The "black goo" sounds like a GI bleed. It's blackish gooey blood. And believe me, sometimes it looks like a murder scene. Blood on walls, all over the floor, everywhere.

The first time I saw something like that, I was in shock. I was like "alcoholism does this??? Are you sure??"

But yes, it's old black blood from a bleed.

That's just my take.

yes its quite strange though, i cant find if there has been a post mortem, it said polish authorities failed to do one, but the body was brought home, so they should have found the cause of his death, surely. i mean 2 litres of black goo...... if it was something legit theyy would have said, like a burst stomach ulcer or something.

There's a four part video series done by BBC about this issue: Fractured -- BBC

It's amazing to me that the procedures and protocols in Poland are so antiquated. A doctor was called to the house and declared the man dead, and then left. The body remained at the house until the next day. During that time it is alleged that the home owner and other unnamed people attempted to revive him by some sort of occult process.

When the mother finally got her son's phone and laptop back the SIM card was gone from the phone and the laptop was wiped.

Apparently Mr. Spiers was an addict and a paranoid schizophrenic. I don't find many of his theories legitimate, but the cover-up after the fact just adds fuel to the fire. It's an interesting case, but I think the woman is just trying to cover up an complicity in his death.

A note on the BBC media, it's not very objective and comes to no conclusions.

Was he unusually obese or something? Two liters is about half a gallon. A normal stomach is not big enough to hold that much volume. It can expand to hold about half that much, but is normally about 75 milliliters.

Isn't activated charcoal used as an antidote for drug overdose?

Exposing black magic is something that can be quite dangerous in itself. It stays hidden in the western nations because people are told is all baloney or don't believe it is a real thing. There are other countries that have laws against people using black magic in any form. Some people are so corrupted with the use of black magic that they can lie down and engage in astral travel in order to freely communicate with evil spirits whenever they wish. If someone wanted to expose black magic with the obvious goal of stopping it's use and making the world a better place, then that evil power behind the veil would know and would see that person as a threat and go after them, and if that person had no spiritual protection they would be a sitting duck. Max Spiers mother said he was in very good health and someone said he was being slowly poisoned.

Infiltrating a group of Satanists would be impossible and the person would be exposed very quickly for obvious reasons to those who understand what people are really dealing with.

Im not saying anything here is what happened. But, as a side comment to your thread...as an Emergency Medical tech myself? I was hospitalized twice for vomiting black liquid, the 2nd time it went out the other way for days.

Black fluids (although not thick nor googey but at times can be) are usually (but not always) a couple of things.
1. Bile from liver-pancreas, polyps and ulcers
2. Necrotic (dead blood cells-ie: me-5 days in hospital from a ruptured polyp)
3. Black can be indicative of dead fluid buildup in the stomach as well
4. Red blood usually has reached oxygen (as in hemorrhoids)

So..its anything...highly suspicous and I suspect anything OTHER THAN WHAT IVE MENTIONED HERE.

It certainly was a unique situation...but I wanted just to mention that medically there are some things that cause black, dead and necrotic fluid.

The "goo-factor" with him gives me pause...and the "willies"...

I've performed autopsies. Stomachs vary in size. Big people have big stomachs and hearts the size of cow hearts.

I spent 7 years in a Toxicology lab, 5 years on scene, and 5 years in an autopsy suite.

this is news from todays tabloids uk....
The 39-year-old, who sought to expose Government cover-ups, vomited two litres of black fluid before his death, an inquest heard in December.

Cops have now opened an investigation into involuntary manslaughter and seek to question science fiction writer Duval, who was present at the time of his death.

Lukasz Lapczynski, prosecutor in Warsaw, told the BBC: “At this stage we have determined that the ambulance arrived at the request of Mr Spiers’s partner.
“Our initial investigation indicates that it was Mr Spiers’s partner [who called the ambulance], but the nature of this relationship is unclear.”

He added: “The nature of this relationship will be determined during the investigation.

“The doctor started resuscitation which was not successful. As a result of the doctor’s decision, the police weren’t involved in conducting additional procedures.

“The information about Max Spiers’s death reached the prosecution office on August 30 when the body had already been transported to the UK. We couldn’t do a post-mortem which is essential in such cases.

“The prosecutor told me he plans to interview everyone that was present when Max died. We know Monika was there, but it’s unclear who else was around.”

now i dont know much about this type of thing like galaga ^^^ but surely they could detect if he was poisoned or had a major illness, when they got the body back??

I believe the 2 liter estimate was made by the woman he was staying with. To my knowledge it was not made by the doctor who visited him and I see no proof that the amount of liquid was ever measured. According to the BBC reports, the doctor said that it was a dark brown fluid.
