Since this involves mainstream media I thought I would post it. Is it a Conspiracy against Pew?

I couldn't tell what this was about from the OP, so I tried watching the video anyway. Only made it through about 15 seconds before my annoyance limit was reached.

Is this about some celebrity gossip quarrel or something? And what's a "PewDiePie?"

Surely by way of viewing the video in your OP, you'd realize the whole point of your OP...which is that Context matters!

Yet, your OP lacks context altogether. Ironic.

Take myself and the two posters before me...we have no idea whats going on or who/what PewDiePie is. Thus, We need context!!!

I know who it, what 'it' is. Thanks to South Park. They did a double episode on the whole tread a couple seasons ago.

Apparently the dinosaur media already had beef with the whole trend. They dont like New Media trends and such that takes viewers away from them. As South Park carried on about in the episode.

This ordeal here, he and went and did some bad distasteful dark humor and the MSM set about destroying him.

So now he's firing back.

I watched the entire video in the OP before I initially posted. I get it, and apologies for assuming you weren't in tune to this story, but my point was about a standard for constructing OPs, especially those heavily dependent on a 10-minute YT video, as Im sure you agree.

What I find truly interesting about this, is that the MSM is currently trying to accuse Trump of "censoring media" while the mainstream media is actively trying to censor EVERYONE whom they deem as offensive to their narrative and EVERYONE who doesn't subscribe to their leftist ideology.

This thread points out perfectly that the MSM is even targeting individuals who don't publicly share a political ideology one way or another, pewdiepie for example...This guy makes some jokes and they call him "anti-Semite" even though their OWN people (the WSJ) make similar jokes daily. They basically tried to have his channel SHUT DOWN. He has 53 MILLION subscribers, btw.

Pewdiepie is pointing out the hippocratic nature of the MSM. And too bad for them because he has basically the BIGGEST audience on youtube. The man makes millions every year solely due to his youtube posts. This is why this is HUGE.

I'm glad for it. The MSM is so sick in their twisted agenda that they find themselves shooting themselves in the foot daily. This is naturally working itself out. The MSM better knock off their BS or they will cease to exist entirely. This is a GOOD thing.

People on ATS are not expected to know who "pewdiepie" is. He's very well known within the gaming community, but most older folks would have no clue about him.

The OP really should have spent more time explaining the back story to those not having a clue what this thread is about.

I agree, this series of events has probably helped expose the MSM even more than the whole election shenanigans did. It's ironic because the left is doing everything it can to prove Trump is wrong when he speaks about fake news and MSM propaganda, they claim he's trying to shut down free speech or some crap, when here's merely just speaking the truth and calling them out on their BS. Events like this really only help cement what Trump is saying, the entire internet is aware of it now whether they lean left or right they should be aware we are fed manure on a daily basis.

CNN get's like 1,000.000 views.
Fox is the biggest TV news at like 3,500,000

Pewdiepie does about 1 video per day each at around 5,000,000 views..

So I think we all know what's going on here.
We saw what happened to the music industry.


The News has become the subject of the news and it's not a positive story.... For them.
For me it's hilarious to watch, continuing to light themselves on fire.. Like wtf..
