Theyre also terrified of free falling.

As in sky scrapers collapsing at free falling speeds.

Popular Mechanics = water boys for the OS.

and to put in a serious reply

i never understand why people claim that watching a video is " terifying "

therrre is no risk to the viewer - so why are they scared ????

but hey - i digress

if climbing without protection scares people - they dont do it - its very simple - you either have confidence in your abilities - or you do not

contrary to popular " opinion " there are few " daredevils " - its all about risk mitigation and avoidance - if perople wabnt to die - they walk to the top and jump off - the folks that climb unaided " on sight " from the bottom - want to LIVE

I think he was referring to the article criticizing controlled demolition conspiracy theory of 911 published in Popular Mechanics years ago.

I think the fear comes from imagining themselves in the same scenario and falling, I get that awkward light stomach feeling of fear when I watch those crazy Russians doing handstands and backflips on the edges of their crumbling soviet era structures. Which is weird because I don't have a fear of heights and have even done the best UK has to offer for free climbing ridges in the form of Crib Goch in Wales

Of course pm is scared. Free climbing involves little to no gear, which means no gadgets for them to review. .. They make money from analyzing gadgets and telling you which one to buy.

I tried vr free climbing and despite the graphics not being the best , it still gave you the pucker factor.

another pucker factoring video is from Mustang Wanted. A Ukrainian free structure climber.

That's the one who painted a star on the top of a Russian highrise building into the colors of Ukrainian flag.
