(Surprise) New puppy for my boys!

My wife and I surprised out boys with a new puppy this weekend. We unexpectedly lost our 10 year old pug almost 2 years ago. He died from a heart attack at the groomers. 1 week before we were set to move. We always wondered if the move was caused him extra stress. My oldest took it very hard and just a few weeks ago he said he would give up his birthday to have Jack back. Well he got a new buddy now and as you will see he was very happy.

Jovi Marie is our new dog and she is a mini goldendoodle. Yes, she is named after Jon Bon Jovi lol.

Ha, many of our FB friends and family were the same way. There are just certain videos that can pull at the heart. Animals and veterans reuniting with family are two of mine!

People say dogs aren't emotional, you see that response to your sons own emotive response? Puppy goes right for him, plants kisses, all waggy tale, bowling him over.

I had to go hug my 12 year old Lab, and our other 2 dogs after that!! Nothing better in the world than a new puppy,...and that little boy was just over the top about it!!
