I heard the last living engineer that designed the trade towers and he said they designed both towers to survive an airliner strike and as far as the pentagon one of the drivers that picked up computers for repair for the company i worked for at the time claims he saw the plane hit the pentagon.
Someone also bet short on stock for the airlines involved on that day. which means they make money if the stock drops...they made millions and it was just on that one day.
