I've been in Moscow many years ago, when it was Soviet Union. They gave us a strange tour around the city, nobody could get down of the bus and there were soldiers guarding the doors at the hotel. Moping the hallway was a tall Russian blonde girl, she looked like Kim Basinger when she was young.

We made eye contact and she was waiting for me to say something but I don't know Russian. That was one of those moments that change your timeline.

I was in Moscow recently, and I think it's the only part of Europe in which young people have absolutely zero knowledge of english. Luckily, Serbian and Russian are somewhat similar, so I had no problem asking for vodka.
