Feeling all dreamy at this late hour and losing myself in music.

I know some of you are going through some hard times right now. Come and sit a while out in the garden. Feel the soothing warmth of the sunlight on your skin. Feel the gentle breeze blow through your hair. Listen to the sound of bird songs. Watch the faeries dance upon the soft, colorful flowers and the dragons soaring high above the tall ancient trees. There are many paths that lead to many places here, secret places that no one else has ever seen. Explore them. Travel ever onward and fight your way through the darkness that haunts you. What do you see as you journey forth? Surely wondrous things of enchantment and magic. Find your sacred place. Raise your sword against the suffering and rise victoriously. You are a Sheddite and you shall not be left behind to fight alone.

Look behind you. What do you see in the distance? US! We are here for you with a hand to hold and a heart that listens. Now imagine a world filled with beauty, compassion and love, of light and laughter and joy and there my friends you will find your hope. Hold on to the good wherever you may find it and let your story unfold.

Hey Night Star, and all participating: I am somewhat ashamed responding here, as I didn't read The Shed; however, I lived in and outside of one in my backyard a few years after Katrina hit my city.

But, seeing these words from Night Star I just had to reply here and give thanks for such sanctuary for all of us. A Bloody Mary Sunday, night star, mourning Masqua, and other fallen who care, and in the midst of that while I looked for a sympathetic place, your words, here, suddenly appeared. Thanks, dear one.

Hi tetra50!!
I was lurking here (not logged in), and logged on to reply to you...and say "hello" to everyone.

My friend's mom passed away suddenly on Thursday morning, and I tried to spend as much time with her as possible. We sat up all night drinking tea and chain-smoking and crying together.
I spent yesterday and most of today in bed with a monster head-ache.
While I was lurking I just read about Masqua's passing...and cried a little more.

I'm so glad that you came here...you are ALWAYS welcome here!! If Night Star is not around, somebody usually is...and you don't have to participate in any story writing to be a part of The Shed.

Many times we support each other through sadness, grief and pain. These friends are the people who have helped me the most, when real-life people didn't seem to care.
Don't ever apologize...if you want to chat (or laugh)...or cry...the door is always open.
*hugs*

a reply to: jacygirl. Ahh, Jacy: I can always count on you to show up when I really need it. Never ceases to amaze me as much as I have railed about the dangers of tech over the years, that I have a true Internet "family" of people who have my back, far more than those I am sharing reality space with....

Much love and I've missed you, to you, Jacy....
I am a'ffeared there are so few wise ones like masqua left, and meanwhile, we are left here, alone. To trudge on through....

Welcome to our enchanting realm tetra! The pixies are always around to make food and drinks. Make yourself right at home and be a part of our wonderful little family here.

I am glad my words have touched you enough to make you respond. Sometimes I write things and they aren't always acknowledged, so I never know when something is making a difference or not. Thank you!

Jacy one of my best friends just lost her Mom recently too. At our age, we have said our goodbyes to too many people now. It's always gut wrenching, but if we hold on to each other, we'll find our wings again somehow.

So, how was your day? Has it been sunny, or has it been sunny?

It was glorious, thank you
!!!!!
I think I may have even gotten a little sunburn

All of the yardwork complete, patio furniture dragged out and cleaned so...next weekend, no work just play.

Aww tetra, thank you for your kind words...I'm so emotional right now.

I have gone through some really low times recently, and even spent almost a year away from this site.
It was friends from here who persevered in e-mails and facebook messages...and I finally reached back, thank goodness I did.
Nobody in my real life is there for me at all. Not trying to sound pathetic, it's true. (plus I know quite a few people who are saying the same thing lately).

Although with tech we're more connected...in some ways we really are LESS connected. (on a heart-to-heart level)
If I need to talk about anything now, I come here. Please feel comfortable enough with us to do the same!

I'm still wrapping my head around losing Blup and Woody...and now Masqua.
It's okay that we care and get attached to people, in fact it's wonderful that we do.
Just terribly sad and painful when we lose someone.

You want a drink? Just give your order to one of the pixies. (it's only cyber-booze but it gets me pretty cyber-buzzed, lol)

Thanks for the welcome Night Star....
I can, perhaps, do without the pixie bartenders till Monday, as I've provided myself a Bloody Mary Sunday for waking masque, and others....

But grief and sadness definitely propel me to seek others of like mind, and share frustration/fear/love and caring with.

You are always there, without fail, my friend.
Much love,
tet

Thanks, sweetie, as I just mentioned in a post to night star, got some vodka and made my first Bloody Mary, for real, after reading about Masqua. I wonder if he had any idea he affected so many of our lives, and for good.

I stopped reading (and posting) here for quite a while, too. But obviously, I am reaching out for some meaning I cannot find here, in my real life, so sad for all of us. I am here for you, too, Jacy, as you've always been for me.

Hey Night & Thelma!
Sorry, didn't see you guys sneak in.

I was only going to lurk, but saw Tetra's message and wanted to respond...didn't think anyone else was home.
Agreed, Night...and sorry about your friend too...there have been a lot of funerals lately, and I honestly didn't expect all this for another 20+ years.

Thelma (Bird/Chirp)...So glad that somebody was productive today, lol...I have been a couch potato.

It is a pleasure to have you here with us. The Shed isn't only about Rainbows and sunshine and unicorns. We share our ups and downs and trials and sorrows as well. That is one thing I have always wanted for everyone here, to be able to share anything and not have to worry about lurking or keeping things inside. Real friends are there for reach other no matter what. We support each other with love and compassion as well as lifting each other up with hope and inspiration.

Hello Beautiful lady! Lovely day here for us too!

You know I'm thinking (dangerous thing that!)...of those we lost and almost lost (nod to my friend
)
It's a beautiful day to start the new leg of the journey, I simply can't believe we 'become worm food' when we die or that we don't live on somehow as energy if even only in the hearts and minds of our loved ones.
Which matters!!! It matters to me!
Sorry, just feeling a little emotional today LOL and you all in the Shed are my victims...mwuahahaha.

Here's one of my favorite pictures for Tetra, or whomever may need it

You've been a couch potato and I've been on the computer getting nothing accomplished around the house. There's always time for that later I suppose. This is nicer, being here with you guys.

Well, in all fairness I had a helper today only
(
) and they would be available for only a few hours so...I had to jump on the opportunity. I'm pretty tough but, a rototiller with flat tires...nope.

Are we having a wimmen party?
I hope so because I'm in my jammies.

We all managed to find each other on this site, that in itself has me believing in miracles.

I'm sometimes amazed by the other members who know me because I feel like an invisible fluffy nobody around here.
Sometimes I will get a private message from somebody who has read something I posted...someone I didn't think knew me...and I'm so touched that I can cry.

Although so much is trying to tear us all apart (news, etc.)...I'm so grateful for a gathering of people from around the world who keep me believing in the power of love.
xoxo

Oh but energy never dies my friend. I believe we go on to a better place after this. We are far more than a human body. I'm going to sound like a weirdo, but I had an out of body experience once. Always thought those folks who spoke of such things were weird. LOL I also have a pre-birth memory. We came from somewhere and we are going somewhere. There are compelling stories of life after death, not that I believe them all, but there are some fascinating cases that can't be denied.

Beautifully said Jacy! YES! The power of love is profound. People on the site amaze me as well. I think we underestimate ourselves and how much of an impact we have on other people's lives. I mean that for everyone here.
