What do you see when you look into a mirror?
Do you recognize the person looking back?
Does it recognize you?
When you try to smile at it
Does it smile back?
Do you feel it's happiness?
Does it feel your pain?
Do you know it's deepest desires
and darkest secrets?
Does it know your biggest insecurities
and your greatest fears?
Do you want to be the person you see?
Does it want to be the person it sees?
Can you lie to it?
Can it lie to you?
Look deep into its eyes
Is it looking deep into yours?
Do you feel your souls connect?
Now is the time to reflect

I remember a literature class I took in college about the self.. it was probably my favorite class of all time.. and my professor talked about the secrets we keep from others, and those we keep from our own selves..

There is unfathomable depth to each one of us.

Awesome man I will remember that when I'm inclined to sling some mud myself.. maybe I could take a step back to remember we all inspire each other, whether that be to good or the opposite.
