Mass sexual assaults by refugees in Frankfurt ‘completely made up’

It seems as though the great Muslim panic may be exaggerated, if not entirely fabricated.

The woman told the newspaper that “they grabbed me under my skirt, between the legs and on my breast - everywhere.”

But police confirmed on Tuesday to the Frankfurter Rundschau that their investigation of the allegations had led them to believe that they were spurious.

“Interviews with alleged witnesses, guests and employees led to major doubts with the version of events that had been presented,” the police said.

“One of the alleged victims was not even in Frankfurt at the time the allegations are said to have taken place.”

The article seems to be referring specifically to allegations listed in a German Paper known as Bild (who may have a history of anti-refugee/immigrant bias) on February 6th about assaults over the new year. Though I remember these reports from earlier than the 6th, I don't know if that date is a typo or if it's an article referring to the same earlier reports.

The police were indeed unequivocal in how they understood the events to have unfolded.

“Masses of refugees were not responsible for any sexual assaults in the Fressgass over New Year. The accusations are completely baseless,” the police said.

Before the Bild report, no sexual assaults were reported to police from Fressgass over New Year.

Prosecutors are now looking into whether Mai and the 27-year-old woman made up the story.

Bild newspaper is bitterly resented by the German left, which accuses it of having stoked hatred against immigrants over decades.

On its website Bild published a statement on Tuesday, saying “Bild apologizes expressly for the untruthful article and the accusations made in it.

Bild did apologize for the article; admitting that their reporting was lackluster.

There you have it, the great New Years Muslim sexual assault was anything but.

Then people have the tenacity to talk about 'liberal hysteria'.

Oh, so it happened, and took 6 months to come out in 2016 .... so it has to all be made up by Feb in 2017.

Officers said they had arrested 10 suspected attackers, including migrants, in connection with the assaults on December 31 in Große Freiheit and Beatles Square.

So arrests were made .. but ONE story was fake .. so let's pretend nothing happened.

This is about a specific article that Bild ran, it doesn't mean that nothing happened. Was Bild the only one to report on it?

In the age of cellphone cameras and YouTube, if nobody's captured a UFO clearly they must not exist. Little evidence of mass roving rape gangs? It's an epidemic.

Yes this is specifically about one Bild article and the allegations within, which cast suspicions on other accusations and related articles making the same allegations.

It happened, there is a problem, they came back to do it again, the Migrants were told to go home and not allowed to participate because they were there to assault women again.
