Because it's not the same thing. For one Obama was already in government. He was president and this fell directly under his control. He wasn't a private citizen trying to negotiate on behalf of the government. He was the government.

I warned since the election (not that everyone did not already know) that the left is not going to give up. They are devious, dirty, and corrupt. They are not going down quietly, as shown by the major temper tantrum they are throwing. They don't know how to be adults.

Flynn did nothing wrong in his phone calls. He spoke with many ambassadors from many countries during the transition, as he stated. That is part of his job.
He should have told Pence the truth - that was his mistake.

She lost the election. She wasn't thrown out or fired or requested to resign. She excelled in every position she was in.
Let's not forget she was elected to the Senate...twice. She was Secretary of state. She wasn't asked to or encouraged to quit any of those position.

I don't believe Flynn NEGOTIATED with the Russian ambassador on foreign policy issues. IMO they had a friendly chat, which is not illegal. Also, ambassadors don't NEGOTIATE policy. To my understand, that job is done by the foreign minister.

Flynn had been investigated regarding the phone call and nothing wrong was found of it.

BTW, if Flynn wanted to prove his innocence, this matter would have gone to the Supreme Court where the motto is All Are Equal Under The Law. Clearly, Flynn had other reasons for resigning.
