this is true i myself when i was 19 was caught for speeding excessively . caught isn't really correct term when i got to next town on us 70 they were bloccking the road so i pulled over a minute later a cruiser come screaming behind me wide open. apparently i blowed by him doing according to him 140 ish i don't know i was driving my moms 1984 datsun 280 zx and the digital speedometer topped out at 88 mph. but yes going really fast will actually get you arrested but i did get by with a midemenor charge and license got yanked till 21.
