Nope did you?

I do not know the majority of artists receiving awards last night.

The Grammy committee sure did though.

Red carpet tickets are not for sale to the public.

Why didn't you passionately hate her and her music before she wore this dress?

(A) I don't hate her...I actually think she is kind of clever..Some people look at the Trump phenomena with horror, she looked at Trumpites with dollar signs in her eyes. I am a capitalist..Good for her!...

No doubt she has made more money of this in 48 hours than she does as a "Vegan Health Coach"!
www.princessjoyvilla.com...

(B) No...I had no idea who she was before this...But I like her style...anytime someone comes up with a way to exploit the zombie right wing and takes their money from them, I am good with that!

How so?

We're talking about Joy Villa (you spelled her name wrong in the OP) and she's known for trolling the red carpet at the Grammy's every year with an outrageous dress. Her new album she's promoting is called "I make the static". (Which she tweeted right after this story broke)

Obvious troll is obvious troll.

And to the other poster, it doesn't look like its me that can't separate their politics from reality.

Hmmm kinda looks like the left is being trolled this time.

Andre Soriano who was the designer of Joy Villa's dress is indeed an immigrant who is a Trump supporter according to his twitter account.

The definition of trolling is

troll2
verb
gerund or present participle: trolling
1.
informal
make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them.

No. But I also don't care that she did this and will quickly forget about her after this blows over. I don't even watch the Grammy's. Vanity award shows for the entertainment elite have bored me since forever. I don't need to sit around and watch a bunch of vain people pat themselves on the back for a job well done.

That girl, what's her name, means nothing to me and my life. She can do her and I'll do me and that is perfectly fine and the way I like it.

Though I hope the irony isn't lost on you calling out someone else for talking about this girl like you know her even though you hadn't heard of her before this aired.

Whose narrative? ..It seems to me as evidenced by your own "Wow that is amazing" entre..That it is a right wing narrative that has been written and now has it's exception.

It's a world of straw men over there in right world...

All politics aside...that was the worst music video ever...she couldn't even manage to get the lip synching remotely close and that crawling on the beach bit was painfully desperate.

The narrative that artists are a bunch of leftists. The narrative that artists disavow Trump. The narrative that black women are against Trump. I mean choose any of them.

Soooo..You are saying the right wing narrative is a failure?

Maybe the right wing should not paint with rollers in black and white whilst constructing their narrative?

But I hear you...and hopefully the right wont deride black people, Hollywood etc anymore as if they are singular homogenous mass. Good to see evolution.

And maybe the left won't deride conservatives as all white racist homophobes, and all black conservatives as uncle t--s. It works both ways. Good to see evolution indeed.

Funny how the celebrity-hating Trumpeters suddenly show such reverence and respect for the 'bravery' of speaking out when it's a topic they agree with.

She's great. She's amazing. Good for her.

In general I think more conservatives and Republicans should pay respect to many of the people they disregard as celebrities. They minimize the incredible amount of work these people do in a truly entrepreneurial spirit. Where a person's name is their brand, and they work their #sses off day and night building that brand, building a base of consumers and clients to try to make their brand worth something that can pay the bills and even create jobs.

I am glad that there is still the freedom of expression in the make believe world of entertainers.

Funny you never say that when they are speaking out against Trump. I will give miss nobody credit for thinking of a way to get people to notice her.

Actually the important detail that you dismiss and twist around is that he has not been complaining about the left or more specific "progressives" right to free speech but more so the fact that they have been conflating their free speech with a license to violate, harass and destroy and the incitement of such things.

OT: She is such a hero to me and look at how proud and fearless she is presenting it ! Isn't it these sos called feminists these days that talk about strong and brave woman. Something tells me they would rather beat this one to a pulp then raise her up to a pedestal using the words "strong" and "brave" "woman".

And she is bi-racial like me , yaaay Bi-racial lives matter !! xD

Indeed, seems like a good PR stunt to get noticed and some media attention.

I have a feeling only Trump's people will be talking about this, as the progressives have other things to busy themselves with.

Like bombarding her with threats and insults on FB and twatter.

Are you serious?
Right, the normal people should have great admiration for the actors who are very wealthy and mock family values. I don't think that is going to happen. But maybe???
