It is indeed a slippery slope, to gain the truth will take fact checking more than one source now, even then you have to disseminate the bias from the article, steering the article's narrative, even then there is no cast iron proof that any of it is factual at all, as the origin may be based on a bed of lies.

All to manipulate and control, it s getting to the point where trust can no longer be established.

I guess that is what our instincts are for, though even they can be wrong on occasion.

The trend on this site that truly sickens me, is that for being a conspiracy theory site, a lot of members seem to have started thinking that the government has their best interests in mind. As your name suggests "theantediluvian", your views must be "Extremely old and antiquated" (as first definition on duckduckgo), and for that, I feel sorry for you. I really do, but you have to let go of the past. After all, the past, when examined even as closely as is possible, IS the PAST!

Just a very, friendly, kind word of advice for you...so you're life will be happier. Embrace the NOW! The very moments that are wooshing by you, every fleeting moment...capture them. Embrace them...and most importantly, accept them!

We just had Donald demonstrably lie to our faces to support his Muslim ban by issuing a report about the media not covering well-covered terror attacks. Most conspiracy theories on presidential malfeasance have some mystery to them. Where facts can't be observed. Not the case here. We know he lied and this can't be disputed.

How many of these types of easily proven lies can pro-Trump conspiracy theorists take before they wash their hands of him? I bet they will stick by him no matter what he says or does.
