I read the first five. You're stretching bruh. For example, the Time magazine "record." You don't provide enough context to tell if it's a lie or not. You make it sound as if Trump said he had the record. But the quote you provide makes it sound like Trump was saying he thought he might have the record for being on the cover the most times of anyone else in the same year. Did Nixon cover Time 55 times in the same year? If not, it doesn't sound like these two things are comparable.

Then next, the Tweet "Celebs hurt the cause badly." You don't provide context. This is referencing not just one instance, but celebrities throughout the entire campaign. And it's true, celebs did hurt the cause. Plenty of independent people had to swerve right to install Trump. Plenty of those were totally turned off by sister molester 'wish I'd had an abortion' Lena Dunham, and other celebrities. Democrats aligned themselves with idiotic celebrities, and it hurt them.

They are all stretches and most out of context.

If only they had examples like:
If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.
or
Health insurance premiums would be reduced by $2,500 per family.

I was clearly referring to the hypocrisy of the OP, but instead you deflected to the responses. Not deflection? Lol

And I responded stating the hypocrisy was within the posts of those not addressing the OP. That's not deflection. We just happen to disagree.

You set a great example of how not to deflect though

I didn't deflect, so I guess I would be a great example of how not to.

yes yes, some more deflecting.

I directly addressed the issue. You really don't know what you are talking about.

You know what the true sign of defeat is? When somebody resorts to name calling lol.

I did not call you any name. I used a well-known saying to highlight the futility of some of the debates had on ATS.

I focused on you because the irony of your logic is a sight to behold.

Considering you have a problem with the concept of deflection, I won't lose sleep over your opinion.

Answer me this question truthfully and I will follow your every thread. Not saying I'll agree with everything, but I will do more than a quick scan through, which is what I do now. I will read and consider every word.

Now, here is my question[s] :

Where were you when Obama was playing cover up and spouting lie after lie? Where were you when Clinton was lying? When she was so obviously guilty, but her supporters were making excuses? Why was the "Truth" so hard to find then?

Your have very selective vision for someone so passionate about exposing the "Truth".

No, I meant as in the exertion from doing their jobs will result in actual adverse health affects for Conway, Spicer etc. I don't think Spicer will last the year in that position. Kellyanne seems a little more hardened in general but she's already starting to falter (hence the Bowling Green Massacre).

I am able to readily list those because they were BIG lies.

It doesn't have as much to do with Trump as it does with the fact that so many people were completely blindsided by Trump's win. Good people that suddenly found themselves saying extremely hurtful things about a president. They painted themselves in a corner. That was the media's fault. Trump isn't the antichrist just like Obama and GW weren't. Yet I know a lot of people that are convinced he is the leader of ISIS or some crazy dictator and are elevating the smallest of details and crying wolf. Trump bloviates. Trump lies. Trump panders to his crowd. Everyone knows it. Everyone does it.

You shouldn't confuse a hatred of media and threads like this with supporting/apologizing for Trump. Most people aren't defending Trump. They are fighting the venomous leftist narratives.

Ah, so stroking out due to doing their jobs (poorly, we can agree) instead of whatever they've elected to get offended about when they woke up on any given day, like Time magazine cover counts.

Gotcha.

How can anyone take the media seriously? Especially after their newfound love for hard hitting journalism after 8 years of being lap dogs. You yourself never did these threads on the lies coming from the Obama administration. Why are you suddenly so concerned with the truth? (you dont really need to answer because it's obvious)

I think one big difference I never saw folks defending Obama like Trump Supporters do.

Lol obama was attacked like donald in the first month of his presidency? And yes people defended obama like political zealots during his presidency, before his presidency and after his presidency

Good work but the Trumpers will argue that the sky is no blue. You are wasting your time. Alternative truths are here to stay - well at least for the next 4 years or his impeachment.

I hope you are not on Twitter as the Prez may tweet about you!

One more thing.

Trump haters need to pace themselves.

2 years is a very long time.

4 years even longer.

They keep this up they are going to lose in 2020 too.

You kept it up for eight years, seems that must be how you've lost your perspective and now rush to defend any BS from the new president.

This. I just don't get it. Those who will see it, don't need to be force-fed the information. And those who won't see it, no amount of force-feeding will change their minds.

The folks who don't think Trump is the second coming of Christ already know he's not the greatest thing since sliced bread and those who think he is, won't be told otherwise. It's the very definition of pointless.

Or star-farming.

Or both.

Then you are living in an alternate reality. The entire mass media never went after Obama, they went after his critics.

I stopped reading after 4 as they were so thin, it's laughable. Good try at deflecting away from the real liars and fakers in the liberal media though.

I made it a bit further, but still...
OP...are you serious? You can't be serious. Most of your so called lies aren't even lies.

I challenge you to do the same thing...perhaps with Obama's first 20 days (or any 20 day period).

It's been almost 3 months and the sound of special snowflakes melting is still reverberating loudly.

Maybe they should have been taught how to lose with grace and class growing up instead of getting participation ribbons.

Maybe if you cry hard enough someone will give you a lollipop.

One thing I have noticed during this election season that seems more prevalent than before, is deflection has become an acceptable debate tactic.

Instead of discussing or debating what you have presented, we now allow people to deflect and change the focus to convenient scapegoats, like the media.

It will interesting to see if anyone will debate the topic with you, instead of being intellectually lazy.
Yes, but that's true on the liberal side too.

"If you criticize Hillary you are sexist."

"If you supported Trump you must be a racist."

I agree that real, respectful debate on issues is missing.

Which is why a CNBC reporter announced the astroturfed, Koch funded Tea Party that had a website that day (Feb 19) being blasted across the echo chamber by Drudge and within a day or two had mass protests ongoing, endorsed and promoted by Fox News (Beck, Hannity, Cavuto, etc) and the whole of the right-wing media?

It would seem an unfortunate fact of life that campaigning brings out the least honest in politicians and so maybe even the bloviating vulgarian deserved a reset at the start of his term (may it be short and singular) — an opportunity to embrace his new role, clean up his act and move forward unhindered by past transgressions against the truth?

Either your being too generous, or you are just kidding!
It's only going to get worse, he's shouting now about Ivanka's bloody clothes line, while that daft *Kellyanne tells people to go and buy the stuff. FFs, the next thing will be a, 'Barney's' sign on the White House door!

*As a footnote, Spicer told reporters this evening that Kellyanne is now receiving, 'counselling'
