Now what would make him think that?

"What do we say to the family that loses somebody to a terrorist -- whether it's Atlanta, or San Bernardino or the Boston Bomber? Those people each of whom had gone out to a country and then come back..."

Looks like somebody may have slipped up.

With all the craziness happening at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me.

Eyes open.

He's said it multiple times apparently.

So, not a slip up.

More like wrong information being given to him, maybe they think the Atlanta Olympics bombing was Islamic?

Which would be hilarious since it was a militant Christian group..

What is false? Atlanta was bombed by a terrorist. He said terrorist in the quote, not Islamic terrorist. Eric Rudolph was a terrorist.

Well... there was that one Atlanta terrorist attack. By an American. An American Christian to be exact.

It's good to see that the Trump administration isn't as blind to domestic terrorism as we thought. According to his logic, we should track all Christians and not allow any to come over. Especially since he thought the attack so bad that he had to mention it more than once.

What is your problem?

The Centennial Olympic Park bombing was a domestic terrorist pipe bombing attack on the Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 27 during the 1996 Summer Olympics. The blast directly killed 1 person and injured 111 others; another person later died of a heart attack.

The main issue I'm having is he never called it an islamic terror attack.

I talk like that too..

Sort of like

We need to start shutting down our nuclear plants we don't want another Chernobyl..

I'm not implying chernobyl was a US nuclear plant or our fault.

I don't think he was implying it was anything other than a terrorist attack, that they want to do things to make it harder for things of a similar nature to happen in the future.

And for everyone who seems confused Christians in Iraq will have the same trouble getting here. If it was a muslim ban Indonesia would be at the top of the list.

Can you post the video where Spicer himself says Atlanta was hit by Islamic terrorism?

Because I heard MSNBC commentators make that assumption and connection, but I didn't actually hear Spicer say that?

Atlanta has been hit by terrorism - others have posted the proof.

Cheers

So after after a couple of years of 'cop violence' Trump critics pull that meme out.

That was funny.

I can't. I'm on a mobile device at the moment.

And it's true. Spicer doesn't specifically regard the terrorists attack on Atlanta an Islamic one. I supposed it's perceived that way initially based on context.

Not every crime committed by a Muslim is terrorist based. Even violent ones.
Like not every crime committed by a black is gang related
Or by a Latino drug cartel related
Or by a white Klan related or drug related or gang related or terrorist related
Terrorists are still the extreme just like the others are extreme examples and not indicative of society.
These incidents don't qualify as terror related without a link to a known terrorist group.
Do either possess that? No I didn't click the link.
