When Obama lied and claimed 1 in 5 women will be raped on a college campus, I dont recall any outrage about it. Or any of his lies for that matter. It seems as long as the media is cool with it, Democrats/liberals are too.

"Nearly one in five women in America has been a victim of rape or attempted rape."

That statistic comes from the CDC's 2011 National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey. Which questioned 12,000 adult women in all 50 states and DC. The actual total was 19.4% and that would be "nearly one in five women in America" wouldn't it?

So in defense of lying Trump, you lied about Obama lying an a bunch of people starred you even though you were wrong because let's be honest, there's a lot of people who don't gaf about facts which is why Trump is continuously getting a pass.

Please link your source for this CDC study. I have seen it claimed that the 1 in 5 number comes from a study that polled two schools online, had 5000 respondents, and the founders of the study decided that 1 in 5 were vitcims. None of any of the claims were verified.

Here is a video.

www.prageru.com...

Here is the Bureau of Justice Statistics report on it from 2013-14 I think. Go to page 69 and it shows that the percentage of women that experienced sexual assault (which includes things like "unwanted touching") was about 10%.

Rape was about 4% of women. And these studies rely purely on the word of the people interviewed. Given the preponderance for rape hoaxes, it is impossible to know how many people actually were raped.

Granted, any rape is too much and disgusting, but the 20% number is an outright lie, and Obama knew the problems with this number when he used it.

I couldn't care less if you make fun of Beyonce for lightening her skin tone. Lightening skin tone is a cosmetic procedure no different than an Asian getting their eyes rounded. It's just frivolous vanity to me.

Hey as long as you are consistent thats cool with me.

I too see no reason we can't make these types of jokes about anyone. It seems though that a large portion of society finds making fun of some peoples skin color is ok, and the other is reason enough to be shunned up even to the point of losing your career.

There are certain protected endangered groups that are privileged in our society that we cannot make jokes about or it's offensive. Their feelings get hurt super easily, I guess?

If you are not one of the protected endangered groups than you are fair game and everyone can insult and deride you all they want and rationalize it away like it's not a big deal.

Republicans? That's what I'm seeing from this thread.

I do believe anti was using "gaf," as an abbreviation for "give a f..."

Other than that, on point in all your posts.

Didn't someone make the mistake of asking if political speech could get any worse?

I blame them on all this nonsense, everyone knows that's one of the questions you never ask.

No I'm just saying we need to be more mindful of what we call others that's all.
I am not a registered voter, and not a Republican.

I was just pointing out your use of the "C" word is akin to the dreaded "N" word in it's inflection, tone, and intent.
It represents hate and prejudice.

My mama was killed by a drunk illegal spray tan, so yes I'm prejudiced against that aspect of Trump.

If he layed out outside, it would be safer, and I'd respect him and not use hurtful names for a man who has never said anything bad about anyone.

Shame on me.

Seriously, I am surprised the left are not recognizing Trump's minority status as an orange 1%er! We all need to be more understanding of his culture. Help him have a real voice! He obviously was born this way and had no control over who his parents were. Being orange is obviously a significant cultural issue and he should not be condemned or maltreated for his beliefs. Sigh.

If someone else has a negative attitude and I don't like them, I am still respectful towards them as a human being.
I don't insult or denigrate them because I disagree with their bad attitudes.

I might scold them though and tell them to get a grip.

If you think someone calls other people bad names, don't stoop to their level.
I know it is the easy way but it only means you are becoming the very monster you set out to slay.
Do you really want to become everything you hated?

The point is quite simply you should be allowed to make fun of a person for their looks or color or you shouldn't be.

I don't care about all of the mental gymnastics. If you find it offensive to make fun of one groups looks but not another, then you are a hypocrite.

I don't care whose looks are made fun of. But many people make fun of Trumps looks, and simultaneously criticize Trump for making fun of others looks. Remember the outrage when people thought he called that lady Miss Piggy? But making fun of his looks is just fine.

This is hypocrisy, and once you justify in your mind that you are allowed to do something but your opponents are not allowed to do that, you justify all sorts of perverse arguments.

Like our friend underwerks here, who truly believes that it is free speech for people on the left to physically assault their political opponents.

Lighten up. Either Trump is going to sink this country into oblivion or he isn't. We're all spectators.

Might as well laugh about it. If you can't laugh at the idiocy of Donald Trump (as I've been doing since the 90's) methinks you've had a steady stream of partisan Kool Aid poured down your gullet. Or maybe not a sense of humor.

If you are elected president and make public ridiculous statements, expect for people to make fun of you.

I could have put this OP in the jokes forum, but I like the mudpit better because people can make fun of me and flame me.

See how that works? Its nice not to have thin skin and be "triggered" by people that disagree with you. Now if Donnie could learn that same thing, we could actually move ahead as a country. Together.

Obviously, many are not realizing my attempt at sarcasm within a mud pit. Or I am misunderstanding the responses to my post? So many say I am too nice on these mudpit forums. The devil in me tried to fling some mud, but it seems I simply dumped it on my own head. Haha.

I may be a Trump supporter, but I can see hypocracy across both aisles. I decided to judge by actions not words, labels, appearances, etc. So far, Trump has not made me disappointed in my vote. I do not think of him as a republican.

I laughed at foreign nations satire comedies, they were well done. Many so-called comedians here are too emotional and do not come off as funny just childishly mean. They don't understand the subtlety of satire.

Oh yeah I too think that humor against the people I support is great. One of the reasons that Trump winning was good is that Colbert, Maher, SNL, and all of the other shows can be funny again. They don't have to walk on egg shells because making fun of Obama was off limits.

Sure there is hypocrisy on both sides.

However, it is usually the left that argues from a sense of moral superiority. Some times religious right people do it, but I would criticize them too.

Its one thing to be a hypocrite by saying "Executive orders are bad". and then defending when your guy does them.

Buts its quite another thing for someone to say "Anyone making jokes about someones looks is a bigoted terrible person" and the proceed to make fun of someones looks.

The reason that its worth calling out this hypocrisy when it comes to moral superiority is that it leads to real world problems.

People like underwerks feel that they are within their rights to beat Trump supporters.

Millions will protest not accepting refugees from the right, but were absolutely silent when the left was destroying countries to create these refugees.

Why do you keep repeating that I feel it's in my rights to beat Trump supporters? I've never said that anywhere.

I get that you're interpreting my statements from that thread a while back to mean that, but its obvious that's not what I meant to anyone who's read that thread.

So the New York Times has an inside source? Why would I ever trust their integrity when dealing with Trump? They would do anything in their power to smear him.

And while I could actually see this happening I'm not gonna take the New York Times word for it and neither should anyone else that is even remotely objective about this whole situation.

And what was that about Hillary moles in the White House?

There's no reason to make fun of it.
She honestly looks better now that she's lightened up.
In fact, shouldn't all women do this procedure?

^^^^^ Not offensive? ^^^^^

Not to me. I can't help it if you find lighter skin tones more attractive. They are your biases. I happen to like asian girls myself. Having preference isn't racist.
