I hate Trump however I do think there is some need for perspective and today I found this tragic report that really demonstrates that when we really look at it there are much worse people in the world. I think it is unfortunate that with the massive controversy Trump is creating reports like this mostly fly under the radar.

As many as 13,000 people, most of them civilian opposition supporters, have been executed in secret at a prison in Syria, Amnesty International says.

A new report by the human rights group alleges that mass hangings took place every week at Saydnaya prison between September 2011 and December 2015.

Amnesty says the alleged executions were authorised at the highest levels of the Syrian government.

I truly wish more people would gain that perspective.

Meanwhile we make ourselves weaker to confront the most perilous challenges we face in the world.

Shocking report.

You think people blindly defend Trump...wait till you see the Assad defenders come out in force.

Clearly, every single one of those hanged were terrorists. /sarc

So they supported extremist Islamists raping & murdering children, burning down Shia mosques and christian churches, and massacring everyone they don't like?.

Good riddance to them.

If this is even true, and given the BBC's "reporting" on Syria, which seems to be in wartime propaganda mode, it probably isn't.

We need to stop killing ragheads for Israel. The US dropped 23,000 bombs on five predominately Muslim countries in 2015 alone. I don't think they hate us because we have too much porn on TV or NFL football. I think they hates us because we bomb the effing shiite out of them. With buildings destroyed and no means for making a living people are driven into abject poverty. They become refuges and become radicalized. Just imagine if Russia dropped 23,000 bombs on Kentucky. How do you think the people in Kentucky would feel about Russia?

I do no think that recognizing an overseas tragedy and questioning authority in the United States are mutually exclusive endeavors, I can do both.

Well the BBC are only reporting what Amnesty have said so if you want you can go to the source and take a look at them.

Also i find it very hard to believe that all 13,000 were members of ISIS or other terrorist groups.

Amnesty also complained when Jordan executed a load of ISIL members. To my knowledge the only people who did. So I pretty much don't care what they say about anything. Not to mention their known connections to the United States Government.

Who even mentioned ISIL? I didn't.

They hated us before then.........

Watch some actual documentaries on ISIS etc.......Young Turks did a pretty good one a year or so ago

This version of ISLAM does it regardless of whats going on in their country, we HELPED ISIS to establish their caliphate and they are greatful for that.......

Now what youre saying does have SOME kernel of truth, but the fact of the matter is , this isnt new and the ideology isnt created by us.....

Its been a long standing goal for this version of Wahabi extremism since long before we invaded the area

If true its horrid and the government should be investigated..

the problem is, the past 14 years of western propaganda means you cannot believe anything you read anymore relating to Syria, ISIS, IRAQ, Assad etc..

atrocities like this are probably occurring in multiple countries right now.. its just that western media doesn't care about them because right now... Assad is needing to be the enemy in the peoples eyes.

How can you hate someone you have never met before in your life, while the only thing you "know" about them is what the media is reporting? Insane.

Second, there's no opposition in Syria. Who's this opposition? Can you name their leaders? 'There are only terrorists there, including ISIS and Al Nusra. Everyone who had cooperated with them, should be punished, for waging a war against Syria and it's people, and should be held responsible for the destruction of that country and many, many lost lives.

And ? Not much of a loss when terrorists get executed . If anything it makes the world a little better place .
Now that obama and hillary not around to support and arm them with luck the terrorists will be eradicated soon .

No, reports like that fly under the radar because they aren't run.

Blame it on mainstream media for not caring or the masses.

And you help perpetuate the problem by making a story unrelated to Trump about Trump.

i disagree. there' are 1.6 billion Muslims approx. why the ones whom hate the west almost always come from the same part of the world, same countries etc. its not a question of sect, out of 1.6 bil muslims there exists many from all sect of Islam. why dont Muslims from indonesia or south east China, south western Africa or singapore go commit attacks against the west?

With one party in power and a president why can't they leave the middle east, planning it now? There is no solution for the US for that part of the world. Israel can protect itself.
