I've dug the hell out of these guys since I was in high school in the 90's.
It is still as fresh as ever.
Give props where props are due.

YES, YES, and more YES. A heavily underrated band.

Anything from Badmotorfinger is golden, then the next three albums are quite close.

One of the trippiest videos I have seen, back in the day..."Black Hole Sun"

Second is Aerosmith's "Pink"(not to derail this thread)

Seriously any rock/alt/metal fan should have this in their collection. Full of messages and nuances.
Here is the full album courtesy of ytube.

ETA: Turn this sh!t up, the bass is real, Cornell's voice and the musicianship is way above par.

This is the first tune I heard on an a.m. college station when I was in high school.
I was hooked.
Turned on all my stoner friends that dig good music.

These guys mixed the Seattle grunge scene with solid rock and roll, with a precursor to the sounds of Tool. and they did it well.

Thanks for this thread, cuz I am blasting Badmotorfinger Atm.

Soundgarden cut their own path for sure with their exotic tunings, hypnotic groove and Cornell's crazy ass range and veracity.
Badmotorfinger was my first connection and what an album! One of my fav's

Another one from the movie Singles(which is a cool grunge era movie)

The Hands All Over song is kick ass too both in concept and execution.

I still listen to Badmotorfinger, in its entirety, about three time a year. In addition to the numerous times I'll throw on Rusty Cage while I clean the kitchen.

Amazing album.

"The wreck is going down, get off before you drown"

best quote from Badmotorfinger.

I still play Badmotorfinger in my car at excessive volumes. I had the chance to see them with Nine Inch Nails in Toronto in 2014. They did not disappoint.
