A simple little video showing pride in our Canadian diversity. Why do American conservatives not like diversity? Why was there an uproar from some Trump supporters over his commercial?



Super Bowl: Budweiser ad draws controversy, sparks boycott calls over immigrant storyline

Its subject matter has led some viewers to suspect a hidden political message — a rebuke to Mr Trump's immigration policies.

Some Trump supporters have called for a boycott as a result while others have criticised the company for trying to make a political statement during the Super Bowl.

"Budlight No thanks … it's time to #BoycottBudweiser. We don't need your beer, your opinions, and your illegal immigrants," one Twitter user wrote.

I'm from Toronto, the most diverse city in the world and I can confidently speak for them by saying that narrative is false, that they don't want diversity.. who as ever said that? Let alone Trump? I think you are misunderstanding the difference between more vetting and being a racist that doesn't want diversity.

I live in NYC, were are all colors, religions, flavors. We want safe vetting and legal immigration. Both my parents came here from Europe, it was a tough time. But the did that legally, is this to much to ask?!? And we could never measure up to such a noble land as Canada, eh!

Diversity requires that we accept cultures as they are without thinking they can advance. Sure it looks diverse if we had three Hillary supporters sharing lattes with an Imam who performs FGM, or an LDS priest marrying child brides, but such diversity is a morally neutral position.

What gives you the idea that conservatives do not like diversity?
Conservatives come from every race and religion.
The US is the melting pot, and we are proud of it.
We are all Americans and most are descendants of immigrants.

Most of us just happen to believe that immigrants from other countries should come legally.
Then they are welcome.
As long as they are not coming from terrorist groups to kill us.

I see nothing wrong with taking pride in this if it is something that you favor, however, I see nothing intrinsically valuable nor desirable about diversity.

Diversity is an unavoidable part of everyday culture in young countries, even when it comes down to personal ancestry. I'm a combination of Welsh, Dutch, and Native American, and I've met people with even more complex blends than that lol.

Diversity only works if Multiculturalism doesn't steam roll over everyone else to change the system and rework it for One culture's benefit.

One has to wonder.

I mean, I don't even know if aliens can mate with humans. Possibly, who knows. That would really fark up my gene pool. Green genetic traits in future generations.

Plenty of people still retain their culture if they want to. It's not something I personally care about; my ancestry means nothing to me. Where my ancestors came from doesn't define my personality.

I'd like to add, that my very best friend when i was only 5 and filled with intellect beyond my years, would have to depend on him for protection against rabid white, yes white kids who were evil to me. I didn't think like they did and i knew more than they seemed to, (great big imagination to thank for that) so they would chase me or throw rocks at me for telling them the truth, and my good friend who was Asian and awesome, would chase them away for me, if not for that, i'd probably have grown up with an even more twisted idea of reality than I have of it now. True, it doesn't but there is intrinic value in that of our historical past, stuff we should never forget just because the liberals push Multiculturalism on us.

We need to Celebrate our Differences, not our Similarities.

As far as I am concerned they can diversify themselves to death, keep those nut bags away from my home and kids. This is the US, acclimate or don't waste our time and money.

Canada is a multicultural crock pot that is for certain...
So its true we have alot of ingredients.
But as everything stews the flavors do not stand out or distinguish themselves from one another. Instead they mix and accentuate each other and become one because of it....
So it matters not whats thrown into the pot the flavor always turns out Canadian...
Canada is not about diversity...
Canada is about unity...
The only thing we wont throw into our pot is terrorists...
And believe me... We stand on guard!

I like this commerical. It's funny it's humorous, it brings laughter to many cultures.

Just keep in mind, there are only 2 official languages in Canada. English and French.

If people get bent over this, they're being absurd and emotional and need to stop, sit down, and take a breath and grow tfu.
