That rhetoric didn't help much to stay out of WW1 and WW2 did it?

Whether you like it or not, we're going to get sucked into this.

In any event, Donald Trump is the president of America. He is not the president of Ukraine. He is not the president of Russia. What goes on between Ukraine and Russia is up to them. Russians also cannot conquer Ukraine because of ethnic differences. Insurgency would wreck hell on Russians if they try that.

Not shocked at all... Ukraine elected gov't was overthrown by Soros backed folks..... to try and install a gov't that just might be accepted into NATO..

That backfired...

When is Soros going to be arrested? While they are at it, can they bag Victor Pinchuk as well?

Isn't the former VP's son heavily involved in Ukraine oil?

Too many ties here to the globalists... a "meh" for Pres. Trump.........

Perhaps Schumer could summon some tears..?

Make another thread when Russia actually attacks the Ukraine.

Has any of them attacked America? So why would it be a crisis for America?

If you can't see the implications of this, there's nothing anyone here can help you with.

So I take it you're not going to correct the information in the OP? Since anyone who reads the article will find your OP to be in stark contrast.

Well, since the media has linked Trump and Putins comradery together many times? Of course people are going to assume it is his business... as a friend and the US being an ally? All Trump can do is see what the UN advises to the nations and then being close to Russia influence it in diplomacy between the nations involved. So people think he has some say... acting without the UN or the US governments advice? Trump would land himself in hotwater... the same way Bush Jr. jumped the U.S. feet first into Iraq without asking any approvals.

Sad, real sad that you refuse to see what's going on.

So here's the next issue in the US. Trump will most likely not do anything when things escalate creating a congressional crisis. You know that democrats will try to support Ukraine and a good portion of the Republicans in congress that know the score will move to support Ukraine as well. If Trump pushes to ignore the issue, he will only inflame the left and will lose confidence in his leadership abilities from the right. This is going to be a tough one for him.

This is going to be a flash point we all can't hide from. If Trump has his way, our allies within and in Europe will move quickly to try and get Trump out of office. If he supports retaliation, he's got to be careful not drawing us into a full blown war with Russia because you know Putin is not going to allow his puppet to revolt on him.

Indeed. It is distressing that so many democrats, republicans, and apparently people on this forum support a genuine Fascist Dictatorship in the 21st century.

Two words describe those in our Gov't who still support the current Ukraine gov't....

Establishment.. folks voted against them....

SWAMP.. Folks voted against them as well...

The same folks that brought you a less than 10% support rating from the polls, have moved on from the past...

2018 comes quick... there's so much to drain out of the swamp....

stay vigilant

Would you be saying the same thing if Clinton was president?

The reality is that Obama had a very good foreign policy. Despite Putin's repeated attempts of trying to grab more of Europe, Obama stopped him and also saved lives.

Now that Obama is not president, 8 Ukrainians died today from Russian hostilities and you know Putin is going to put the pressure on Ukraine now that Obama is not there.

Trump will most likely give Putin a call and ask him to stop for Trump's sake. Putin will just tell him to STFU and continue to grab that land. Checkmate right wingers.

Let's see, the end of the human race or let the Russians have the Ukraine. Hmmmmm, what to do????

What milatary actions did obama take? Arming terrorists? Honestly, name one foreign policy obama had that helped protect Europe.

Whats' ATS policy about misleading thread titles?

Just like your last thread "BREAKING NEWS emergency stay granted, it's misleading and intentional.
Or how about the one before that? Same misleading BS.

While this is real news, you've taken it and distorted it, you and ones like you are whats wrong with society today.
Why not quote from the real story instead of lying??
From your link:

Fighting in eastern Ukraine between pro-Russian rebels and Ukrainian armed forces is escalating, officials have warned.

The fact that Obama and the rest of NATO put sanctions on Russia so that they can stop their aggression which saved thousands of lives. But now that Trump is in power, Russia goes on the offensive and resumes fighting.

Obama did his job while Trump is opening the door for Putin to pillage Ukraine.

Will you bring proof that this is coming from Russia or connect the line between pro-Russian rebels and Russia?
