Anastasio(Phish) fans?

any fans here?

i am a huge phish fan and trey anastasio especially.
i think phish gets a bad rap a lot of the time. at least from people i talk to.

they are all fabulous musicians but trey especially. he composed something like 150 phish songs. his improv skills are amazing.

any fans?
what do you like about him(them)?
dislike?

i personally cant get enough.

Trey is hands down my favorite guitarist, everything I know about chord voicings I learned from phish songs!

yeah man.....trey is a monster.
a lot of people totally dismiss him and i dont understand why.....

i think that phish is too positive sounding for most people, most people don't seem to like happy things for some reason.

Phish gets a bad rap from Dead heads because they don't think Trey is a suitable replacement for Jerry. I don't care though. I like both bands a lot. Though I like String Cheese Incident and Umphrey's McGee a bit better than Phish. The nitrous inspired music of Phish gets a little boring and repetitive at times to me.
