This is so much more important than.

1. Our educational system
2. Our healthcare system
3. Our crumbling infrastructure
4. Our budget
5. Climate change
6. Corporate tax loopholes
7. Racial divisions in our country
8. Our military decreasing in capabilities while budgets are still high
9. Oil
10. Clean energy
11. Crowd sizes at Trumps inauguration
12. The wall in Mexico
13. A Blanket ignorant take two add one policy

I'm sure I missed some things that really are more important than this grandstanding EO.

Let's make America hate again, and I remind you the voices of the American public will no longer be ignored.. (Unless your media source is something other than our media secretary, Kelly Ann Conway or Faux News).

1. Our educational system---is being over-run with illegals who pay no taxes to support it.
2. Our healthcare system---see above.
3. Our crumbling infrastructure system---see above.
4. Our budget---see above---is not a budget at all but a borrowing plan that is doomed to crash about our heads like the people depending on payday loans to get through the week.
5. Climate change---yeah, I thought Obama took care of that with his Paris Accord. What happened?
6. Blah.....

It seems to me that a lot of you folks don't understand basic economics. If we can't help our own citizens by properly educating and employing them, how in the name of all that's holy are we going to absorb more who have far greater needs? It's like saying, "Well, my children can go hungry and naked while I feed and clothe these strangers." It makes no sense whatsoever.

The United States cannot, and should not, admit those who do not support the Constitution, or those who would place violent ideologies over American law.

Its an interesting thought but how do you determine that (for those entering the US)?

On one hand, he is playing it up for those who buy in to the false flag terrorist attacks like 9-11, even while Trump alluded to the idea that 9-11 was something other than it seemed.

On the other hand, genuine jihadist aspirations are not insignificant possibilities.

The EO fails to even do what it say it will in section 1

Section 1. Purpose. The visa-issuance process plays a crucial role in detecting individuals with terrorist ties and stopping them from entering the United States. Perhaps in no instance was that more apparent than the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, when State Department policy prevented consular officers from properly scrutinizing the visa applications of several of the 19 foreign nationals who went on to murder nearly 3,000 Americans. And while the visa-issuance process was reviewed and amended after the September 11 attacks to better detect would-be terrorists from receiving visas, these measures did not stop attacks by foreign nationals who were admitted to the United States.

Numerous foreign-born individuals have been convicted or implicated in terrorism-related crimes since September 11, 2001, including foreign nationals who entered the United States after receiving visitor, student, or employment visas, or who entered through the United States refugee resettlement program. Deteriorating conditions in certain countries due to war, strife, disaster, and civil unrest increase the likelihood that terrorists will use any means possible to enter the United States. The United States must be vigilant during the visa-issuance process to ensure that those approved for admission do not intend to harm Americans and that they have no ties to terrorism.

It doesn't even block the countries the 9/11 attackers came from yet it claims to be trying to prevent another 9/11. It is political theater.

There are several problems with this ban.

The first problem is that it is affecting valid US citizens, people who have Green cards. These are not people who do not live here, but legal US citizens, who are being denied their basic rights, as stated by law, statute and the Constitution of the USA.

The next problem is this: All of the countries that are on the banned list, Iraq, we are involved in. We have abandoned those who helped the country when we were there, leaving them to be killed or worse. And those countries, that are on the list, there really have not been any terrorist that came from there and attacked US. Libya, yes there was that plane jacking, however, it is a new government there, and a mess that was made. So why are they banning one group, but the countries that have terrorist have come from, why are those countries not on the list? The 9/11 hijackers, 15 of the 19 were from Saudi Arabia. The dead leader of that terrorist group was from Saudi Arabia, so why are we not banning people from that country?

Visas and green cards are still allowed entry. At first the orders that came down werent put into practice properly by the TSAs on site. A lot of confusion.

Things have settled, now the only big delays are due to misinformed protesters

Can you enlighten us all by showing just when and how "green card" holders became citizens?

Last I heard they were foreign nationals that had "government" permission to stay longer than a visa allows. Permission that can be withdrawn by the way.

If you read the EO you'll notice there is language to widen the order to other countries as you suggest once recommendation is made.

Well perhaps if it was not done in secrecy and out in the open it may have been a different story. However, it was done in secrecy. And it turns out, that no one was allowed to talk about it. It appears as though those aids working in the White House have had to sign confidentiality agreements, where they can not even talk to Congress about such, thus creating a false wall between the branches of the government.

For this government to have any sort of confidence on the part of the public, secrecy on things that would affect its citizens should not be there.
