Look at what is happening in Europe, you want to see North America like that?

False equivalency. We are vetting our refugees. It's not like they can hike over here. Just in passing, if you do encounter a middle-eastern type that can walk on water...you might want to re-think your ban. Apparently the last time out, he looked a lot like this:

I heard he's great at parties too.
Creates enough wine for everyone 🍾🍷

Neat. But try not to overlook the fact that Krakatoa was completely wrong in his prediction. 1 shooter. White male. Christian. The usual fare when it comes to mass murder in Canada and the US.

Where are you getting the Christian part?

From his name, obviously.

Yes that was sarcasm. Everybody knows only Muslims can be identified by name alone.

Seriously though the Christian thing was an assumption I came to after lurking his Facebook profile, which surprisingly wasn't disabled before his name was released to the media. It seems to have been removed now so there is nothing I can offer to back up my claim. In the future I'll just refer to him as male, white, right leaning non-Muslim.

So, do people talk on the internet or do they not share info and ideas unless Trump says it's ok?

You have way, way oversimplified reality in order to blame Trump. Muslim cynicism existed long before Trump ran for office and people didn't keep their opinions to themselves.

If you have not seen the tenor of the discourse change, then you are not paying attention. Boorishness has been institutionalised, and people are now acting on that which they used to hide.

He seems to be more inspired by the far right national front leader in France, than Donald Trump, but then again he was also a fan of the NDP party which is a far left party. He was also a fan of the late Jack Layton who was the ndps leader. so whos to say what made him snap, our own pm tweets comments about taking in the refugees that are going to be banned from the us, then he had to retract it.

Now the prime minister wants fox news to retract the tweet about the other suspect/witness.
Maybe he should just go back to work already.

The violence i see happening is coming from the left, yet they blame Trump?

A senior official in the PMO, Kate Purchase, is taking Fox News to task over the inaccurate tweet not the PM himself.

Also as far as I can find the PM never said Canada would take all refugees that are refused access to the US. I believe the tweet, which people have twisted to mean something else entirely, was:

To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength

Which Canada has done and will continue to do, in contrast to Trumps America. If I missed where he explicitly stated Canada would take in all refugees turned away by the USA please provide a link. I wouldn't want to spread misinformation.

yeah i know, doesnt make sense to me, i get that people are trying to juxtapose trump with this shooting, its ridiculous and almost childish really, if trudeau keeps up trying to play great grandfather to everyone he will find himself out of office after his first term, Canadians are alot like Americans much to the horror of the left here and in the US, they will only take so much for so long.

For the record I did not vote for Justin Trudeau and I'm still glad.

Any idea that's embraced by humans can be weaponized. Look at how many wars were fought over capitalism, communism, imperialism, nationalism, fascism, etc. The only common denominator is humans.

Canada better not take in 'the overflow'
Be the worst decision their administration could make, but as it sits now, I think Justin and company are so stupid they could well do that. Time will tell, as of now, there is no change.

you just quoted it, I guess im one of those who twist things, well it was said immediately after the immigration ban, and i guess i read between the lines, sigh,,, oh and nice try with the official from the pm office, concerning the fox tweet, im sure she just ran out there all on her own and made an executive decision like that. OK. I guess you twist things too eh!

Was the Moroccan just a witness or his "handler" who was released because he did not do the actual shooting? Just a question.

It took them 12 hours to 'clear' this 'witness.' Why so long?

Both police and witnesses had initially described two masked men open fire about 7:30 p.m. inside the mosque

“It was someone who mastered weapons because it was calm,” the man, who did not give his name, told the paper. “He killed and he killed. It was really horrible.”

Yup. This guy was a pro.

Probably because it was a mass murder and they like to make sure.
This guy was a gun owner and hunter.

If that influence has a thousand+ year history of being the most violent in the world then I would say blaming the influence is justified.

Seriously? I've read Mein Kampf and I don't kill Jews. I've read the Quran and I don't kill kaffirs, I've read the Torah and I don't kill Canaanites, I've read the Bible and I don't kill pagans, I've read the Rig Veda and I don't kill Dasyus, I've read the Communist Manifesto and I don't violently revolt against the establishment...
Hm, perhaps books don't force people to do anything.

As for most violent? That would be American society. We killed half a million civilians in Iraq alone - ISIS wishes they were us.

It could have been someone who couldn't enter the USA, thanks to President Trump. Canada will wise-up. Hopefully sooner, rather than later.

Way to jump to conclusions. The shooter was French-Canadian.

Who trained him? Who was he in contact with? Yes, why did it take so long to clear the other guy?

Will we ever know? or will it all just fade away....?

Will we be kept apprised as to the investigation of this individual?

The upcoming court case will be interesting, or will the info be cut off from public view?

This was a black op psyop "misfire" to try to stoke the fires of all the anti-Trump hysteria in the MSM, imho, although I don't have a lot of info other than a very questionable coincidence in it's follow-on of Trump's EO travel ban from the Muslim countries.

It also appears to me, that in a concerted way, the MSM decided not to link the two things. I guess they thought it would be just too transparent, so they stayed away from making the type of linkage that all the anti-Trump people were on about on Twitter in the wake of the events.

I think certain CSIS operatives and CIA agents may have some 'splaining to doo.. even though it might take place behind the scenes.

And of course it was an act of terrorism, that was no revelation on the part of the Prime Minister, who's been fairly quiet since as far as I can tell..

Time will tell... or will it.

Watch it just disappear..
