My sense of humor being what it is, I would have come in riding on a donkey.

Doesn't that happen toward the end?

I was curious about it until I read that its an anonymous source from huffingtin post.

Fake news.

Some folks will consume anything. Theres more evidence for the mandela effect than this story.

Your "fake" is quite real. The fact that the military didn't definitively say NO should tell you something.

A little early in the year, isn't it??

I'd have laughed my ass off though...

Fake news is so humorous, especially the unsourced blogger variety.

Glorious!

Me? I'd have LRADS or some kind of massive speakers making trumpet sounds and then I'd use holograms to project me riding out of the clouds on a white horse.

Go big or go home, right?

Sure is! Take a peek at the fake biker videos and photos being passed around!

At least some investigating went on with this one, and people at the DoD were contacted!

A fact? A real live fact from the blogosphere? Where, where?

How many bloggers get the time of day with the DoD?

Can you point to any? I'm having trouble finding any bloggers who know who to contact at the DoD for comment. My Google-fu must not be as good as I thought.

Don't worry. In 4 years when the God Emperor is re-elected we will get the parade America deserves.

You're assuming there will be an election.
