Subtle Racism

Here's a new one. Subtle racism. Subconscious racism is now a thing, and "most whites" have a historical background of racism toward blacks.
The media will say and do anything to keep us separated.

Subtle racism is described as a person who has a negative attitude towards another group and is ambiguous. But it can be attributed to things other than racist beliefs, racism is the underlying subconscious influence.
Subtle racists have one goal and that is to harm people from different backgrounds. Research shows many white people proclaim to have egalitarian values but are influenced by their subconscious prejudices.

Subtle racism, also known as, covert racism is described as a person who has implicit racial or other negative attitudes towards another group. Subtle racism is an ambiguous form of racial discrimination. It is defined as ambiguous because the perpetrator’s actions are very indirect and are often expressed through innuendo’s. While subtle racism can be attributed to many factors other than racist beliefs, racism is the underlying subconscious influence on the perpetrator’s behavior.

Subtle racists have one goal and that goal is to cause harm to the person of a different ethnic background. Research shows that while many White people proclaim to have egalitarian values, their cognitions and behavior are influenced by subconscious prejudices. These prejudices are buried deep within their psyche. Denial of their prejudices and racism leads to cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance is a psychological conflict resulting from incongruous beliefs and attitudes that simultaneously co-exist.

A study from 1994 says most whites have a common and historical background of racism against blacks. And the same whites who voted Obama to prove they were not racist voted Trump this time around.

According to Feagin & Sikes 1994, most White Americans share a common and historical background of racism and prejudice against Black people. This historical prejudice is so deeply embedded in their psyche that it develops as a half conscious or unconscious state of mind.
Many White people pretend to be liberals who believe in equal rights for all mankind, although, their actions suggest otherwise.

On KPFK 90.7FM radio, it was stated after the November 2016 election that the same Americans who wanted to prove just how racist they weren’t by voting for Obama in the 2008 presidential election are mostly the Americans who voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. The program suggested that this was due to Donald Trump’s campaign eliciting subtle racism from many Americans.

And?....

The same whites who voted for Obama would have voted for a white person no matter which candidate they voted for. There were no minorities on the ticket this time around.

Additionally, the majority of the Republican vote actually went to minority candidates by the time you tally up Rubio, Cruz and Carson.

Then you have to consider that those very same racist voters also put Rubio and Tim Scott back in to the Congress pretty handily alongside their votes for Trump.

So what exactly what the point again?

If some minorities didn't have racism to fall back on then they would have to start taking responsibility for their own situation in life. I know as a white male I have only myself to blame for my condition.

If it stopped, what would the liberals do? That is all they are about....finding ways to divide people, stand on their high and mighty pedestals and preach and issue blanket judgements. They would "go out of business" without their divisive identity politics.

Few people seem to understand where this whole business of this thread especially the trans video and transgender bathroom arguments is going and where it will eventually end.

Briefly, as I've mentioned before, it is evolving toward a non-physical acknowledgement of the other entity (person) as a fellow consciousness and not as any form or type of a physical being. Gender identification will be outlawed by unwritten social norms and, eventually, perhaps outlawed by official mandate. Few will be able to bend their head around that extreme situation because we currently are bound by the physical features that set those rules of society and law. But that is changing as we argue over who we are what is happening.

I'm supposing that it is a basic law of the cosmos that the norm of existence for more advanced others out there is the recognition of the consciousness of a being and not the physical appearance. Obviously, the human race has a lot of physical and head changes to encompass before it can gain the ultimate freedom of being pure conscious beings.

They know that people will share it, too. They don't need to do anything when they've got word of mouth to spread their lies for them. They just tell the lie, and let the public do their dirty work for them. Even when people oppose what these news outlets say and do, they are still spreading it around and giving them mouthpiece...and they know that sharing it will reach those who will see it and believe every word. And those people will share it too. This will never stop as long as people keep feeding it and give it more life.

Just because they are people too doesn't mean we will be happy to have sex with them.

People are still allowed to have those preferences since the urge is based on your mate preference and stems from a biological drive to procreate and no matter how much you might want to try to divorce those two issues ... you really can't.

You didn't get the memo?

As a white male you have to be more responsible. More than just you. More than just your family. More than just your household.

You need to take on some of the 'blame' that minorities and genders (including the weird ones), and classes, and financially challenged entities and whatevahs ... have earned for themselves.

The social norms we've allowed society to develop are just sickening. Maybe this is why the upper crust is so sexually perverted and prone to deviant behavior. Whatever happened to be responsible and take responsibility for yourself?

If you are of the science mind I would say evolution. If you are of the spiritual mind I would say well you knew this was going to happen.

Is it okay if I dont give a damn and truly dont feel one thing about this other than... some races ( BLACKS) need to get out of that mindset in order to take advantage of the opportunities in this country? I was approached in college by the NAACP ( they like to try to drag NDNs in as people of color .. as THEY define it) and told I was oppressed and etc. I didnt feel overly oppressed. I wasnt living on my parents rez, I was in college, I was paying for my own college, and was in a pretty damned good place. There is a REASON these BS racial things are out there.. to cement the divide. Sad thing is that its the black "leaders" who are pouring the cement.

Why not?

If people separated tolerance of race tolerance from tolerance of culture then it would be very simple to see what is ok and not ok.

I like atheists, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Taoist. People who think deeply.
I think Christians, People who follow Judaism and Muslim are spiritually and logically insane on one level or another cursing themselves to have lesser potential than they could have been.

It is not the skin color that is the issue. It is about behavior. Tolerating spiritual and cultural bigotry to prove you are not a bigot is a dead end that gives the bigot/bully power over you. I will not be emotionally manipulated to tolerate insane backward spiritual and cultural ideas just because some people equals being annoyed with culture or religion as being racist.
