Chicago Torturers ‘Could have been Obama’s children,’ Tweets Teacher

Evidently this now suspended teacher has a real issue with Obama and his policies. She really must have thought she could let it all hang out on twitter. Not too bright.

Mary Durstein is a teacher that is suspended with pay for her racist rants against the president.

The West Virginia high school teacher has been suspended for her racist Twitter rants.

A high school teacher in West Virginia has been suspended after her personal Twitter account was found filled with racially charged tweets. Mary Durstein was suspended, with pay, on Monday, according to the Herald-Dispatch.

She responded to a photo of the 4 accused of beating the special needs person in Chicago that wondered how many riots there would have been if it would have been whites torturing a black special needs person. She responded that the 4 accused could have been Obama's kids.

The tweet that initially garnered attention was in response to a photo of the four Black people accused of torturing a mentally ill white man in Chicago. “Can you imagine how many riots we would have around the country if the terrorists were white?” the tweet read. The photo was captioned, “Imagine if these were 4 white people torturing a special need black kid!”

Durstein tweeted in response, “this could have been Obama’s children.”

Students at Huntington High school reported her tweets over the weekend. She also incorrectly tweeted in another post that Obama apologized for the atomic bombs dropped on Japan during WW II. She also tweeted a pic of the USS Arizona memorial, that is th grave site for the people killed during Pearl Harbor. She tweeted this is where you belong you Muslim D-bag.

Students in and residents of Cabell County, where Huntington High School is located, reported that tweet, along with others, to school officials over the weekend, according to Jedd Flowers, director of communications with Cabell County Schools.

Another post about the president was a photo of his May meeting with Japanese leaders, at which time he expressed sympathies for the bombings that took place in Japan during World War II. Durstein tweeted the photo of Obama and inaccurately wrote that the president apologized for the attacks. She also tweeted a picture of the USS Arizona Memorial, located on the gravesite for the people killed there during Pearl Harbor. Obama started that meme himself when he interjected himself into an ongoing investigation, denying the accused thier right to a fair and impartial trial.

Too bad he wasn't suspended at that time.

You don't need secret service protection to bring your kids up to not live like animals , parental abdication of responsibility is behind a lot of problems that end up in court.

And Obama planned to apologize for Hiroshima/Nagasaki but Japanese officials told him it was undesirable and a very bad idea in an official communication published by Wikileaks.

Well that explains the lack of secret service personnel in everyone who has kids lives.

Based solely on the logic used by Obama's defenders when he interjected himself in the Trayvon Martin case, the teacher isn't wrong.

where was she wrong in saying that if they were white, and the captive was black there would be riots all over. she's not wrong in what she said. its like the science experiment. you mix A with B and get C, it was repeated, and the same outcome happens every time. she was correct in that statement I believe. where is the rage from the white community on this? oh that's right, we can't rage about this, or that would be racist.

I think the school is concerned about the contend on some of the tweets.

What part was racist though?

The Muslim comment cannot be it though because that's a religion not a race.

And so is the precedent set now that teachers can only have private political opinions on twitter that are aligned with what is deemed acceptable by people who tow the line of the democrat or (possibly even the republican) party?

Seems like a case of a free speech violation because the teacher kept these opinions away from school.

On another note, I've seen some extreme blatant racism from professors in Universities around the nation recently and very few of them got any blowback from that. (But their racist views are aligned with the Dem party).

Just seems a little bias and outta bounds.

And that 'suspended WITH pay' stuff is insane.
Give me a job like that, hahah!
