So, we are to believe that the Russians have assembled this damaging dossier on Donald J Trump...
This dossier has been allegedly leaked from Russia in some capacity and to a robust enough degree that the US and UK intelligence communities have extremely specific as to the dossier's contents...
Much of the dossier's contents were amassed during the presidential election races, alongside hacked documents the Russians released to prevent Clinton from getting elected...
Russia intentionally withheld anything they found on Trump while embellishing on everything they found on Clinton to influence US elections...
The only way for the intel surrounding this dossier to be as specific as it allegedly is, would indicate that the dossier was leaked from high ranking Russian sources...
The concern is that this dossier is intended to be used to blackmail or control President Trump...

WHY IN THE BLUE HELL WOULD RUSSIA EVER ALLOW ANY OF THIS DOSSIER TO GET OUT TO THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES!?!?!?!?!?!?

This makes zero sense, people. If you are trying to blackmail or extort someone, you would stay 100% SILENT about it except to the individual being blackmailed. Otherwise you weaken your position. The official narrative here is that Russia wanted Trump in office, has dirt on him, and can control him from the big chair... if that were the case, how profoundly ignorant to allow even a PEEP on what that dirt is or that it even exists out to anyone in the public or in authority outside of the Russian upper brass.

This makes as much sense as the idea that the Bush administration was as bumbling and inept as it clearly was, yet managed to pull off the largest trick play in world history, involving thousands of federal employees and officers, and managing to keep it all on the down low. Conspiracy Theory doesn't have to mean "We shove our heads up our ass and see who can come up with the most ridiculous fairy tale." It sometimes means Occam's Razor is accurate... if it looks like a setup and if you've got groups (like 4Chan) fessing up who could legitimately have faked the story, it's probably a setup.

Probably, or it is a setup? Perhaps it is a distraction and there is more to it. Perhaps there is nothing to it.

That's why I don't understand why people are taking a stance on these recent issues from either side. It seems most logical to wait and see what happens. To say it is real or false at this point does not make much sense. There is too much propaganda and disinformation being spread to make an informed decision.

only if you haven't been paying attention.
NBC came up with facts showing Trump was never briefed on this even though CNN and others claim he was, and then that the IC put those pages in the briefing just in case Trump needed to be shown an example of fake news.

Perhaps its to teach him a lesson? A slap on the wrist if you will for doing something they didnt like.

Perhaps its to let him know he needs to stay in line?

My guess is IF any of this is true , which it very well may not be, this isnt the ONLY thing they have on Trump.

Trump associates are being watched. FISA warrant has been issued. FISA warrant grants full wiretap access. Trump and associates violated the Logan Act, a law signed by John Adams.

Our founders were smart. Trump is anti American. He's done.

Or maybe, just maybe, it is a brilliant bluff by the Russians. Let a dossier fall into the hands of your foes on purpose, knowing full well it's phony baloney. When it's discovered that it is, in fact, phony baloney, you seriously damage the credibility of the anti-Trump brigade. McCain sure does look mighty foolish right about now.

Yes, but that does not stop people from planting their feet firmly in the ground and refusing to be patient, in order to see what transpires. That goes for both sides of the issue.

Trump's Hollywood flamboyant lifestyle will either be the factor that controls him or brings him down. He may project a hard azz personallity,
he knows that the only control he has, is the control THEY give him.

out of curiosity, how do you think this could be proven true or false?

It could very well just be a campaign of innuendo, I believe there was this guy named Barack HUSSEIN Obama
who knows a great deal about those kinds of tactics... But to me, there is clearly a Russian connection between Trump and Russia and Vlady.

Here is an article from before Obama was even president indicating the Trump family's ties to the nation and indicating a strategic business alliance with the nation. There is a TON of evidence linking the family with the country...

www.eturbonews.com...

Anyways, to me it makes sense that they wanted Trump, Russia just essentially kicked the US out of the European energy
game since Obama's policy will no longer be upheld (AKA install a friendly government in Syria to prevent Russia from building their strategic pipeline) and plus since Trump is invested in Russia, it makes sense that he wants to build them up.

It also makes sense that Russia would collect some serious DIRT on Trump because it is the Russian thing to do, culturally speaking, Russians are into blackmail and psychological games. The great Russian novels are psychological expositions in nature for example, it is how they do things.

I do agree that I am not sure why they would leak them no except to maybe indicate to Trump that they have his number, again, another Russian thing to do. Good Ol Vlady can use plausible deniability as they have been doing this whole time and Trump won't know what the hell the truth is, but he will know he has to play nice.

But who really knows

McCain has nobody to blame for that other than John McCain. The man has made a career off of two things:
1. Being a total jackass/warmonger/RINO/idiot
2. Using a tired "I'm a POW survivor" as a crutch to elicit public sympathy shielding him from the worst of the valid criticisms and gaining him enough sympathy votes to get elected time after time.

Being captured by the VC was the best thing to ever happen to McCain and lead to his entire career and fame following his return stateside.

Those that see nations as resources and national leaders as pawns to be bribed, cajoled and controlled, do not want to see cordial diplomatic relations and business agreements between America and Russia. They want to see war and are plotting to discredit nations and leaders, setting them against eachother and creating the narratives that lead the people to see conflict as righteous and leaders that want peace as weak or dishonourable.

Time. Patience.

Everything should come to the forefront and more facts will be revealed. Then I think we will have a better picture of how all of it is connected, or not connected.

It seems illogical to me, at this point, to say anything is true or false. We have to put our partisan desires aside and wait this out.

The stuff on Trump is supposed to be from several years back. I highly doubt that Russian intelligence is any more immune from the occasional leak than the US intelligence services are.

This information, were it to be true, could have been initially leaked prior to Trump's presidential run, and passed along since then. There has been no suggestion that this 35 page dossier was compiled by Russian intelligence. Rather, this private intelligence firm compiled the dossier which included things attributed originally to Russian intelligence.

This lends no weight in either direction to speculation of whether or not the original information is accurate, and therefore your entire original post is barking up the wrong tree. That said, the "right" tree to bark up may as well be on another planet, so other trees are worth barking at, at least.

A theory...

As there has been vague allusions that the baseless, unsubstantiated allegations against Trump may have originated within and leaked from within our own intelligence community it could be just as possible that domestic powers are seeking ways to influence, coerce, blackmail, extort and control the incoming president who was elected primarily because he couldn't be bought, beholden to, or otherwise owned by powers greater than himself. Not necessarily any foreign or Russian involvement at all.

A very public, unsubstantiated warning to the incoming president to comply... or else!

Who does Trump terrify more, Russians, foreign, or domestic adversaries????

Nothing will be revealed, as there's nothing to the story.

I have no partisan nor any personal feelings about this situation. There's absolutely zero proof to any of this, and it is clear to me as an outsider, that this is just a continuing blatant propaganda against Trump for whatever reason. From sexual assault we've come to being controlled by evil Russia.

How many more times will you fall for the same damn play? Those in power never change their playbook, and it's saddens me to see so many people falling for the same sh!t every single goddamn time

If that is true, this entire issue will die and we can move on. That is why I think patience is best in this case.

I've not fallen for anything. I'm one of the few actually holding my tongue until this garbage dies-off or is proven to be true.

I appreciate your stance on this and usually follow the same process, but this along with charging your opponent with sexual abuse allegations seems to be the trick pony used by TPTB and sadly, it's the only pony they seem to have. And much like say the DUKE La Cross players, even though they were innocent, they will always be associated with rape.

Nothing will likely come of this since the only way to prove it is to show a video, and if it existed, it would already be out, leaked to TMZ for $$$, so the damage is already done. At least this might overshadow the "grab em by the pu$$y" garbage.
