There is difference in actions. Those Christians who nowadays seek peple to convert them do it peacefully.. not forcing them. Can you say same about your religion ? What about Europe, forcing Sharia Law in our cities ? Peacefully ?

I'm not Religious. But I'd say the same about any Monotheistic Religion. They all seek to convert others to their Religion as part of their Doctrine. That can be done peacefully or through force and is usually done with both at the same time depending on how radical they become.

That is always going to cause problems. If someone tried to convert you to a different religion would you go with it??? I didn't think so. So why would you expect others to do it.

I'm not excusing mistreatment of Christians or anyone else. But as long as your religion promotes the idea of Conversion and Monotheism/Exclusion of all other faiths, you're going to have resistance.

Took a look at that site, granted it's a Christian site but there is a weird level of bias and revisionism at work there. For example: It cites actions by the KLA against the Serbs during the Kosovan war as acts of persecution against christians, conveniently ignoring the fact the Serbs under Milosevic were raping, murdering and pillaging on an industrial scale.

It's also important to note that many of the countries on that list were purposely targeted for subversion and conversion by missionaries who through NGOs set about attempting to gain political and economic footholds in those nations. Some backlash is probably to be expected there.

Conversely; Israel is conspicuous by its absence in that list. The actions of the ultra orthodox Jews against the christians in Israel is pretty apparent and widely documented.

christian persecution isnt because minority christians in north africa and the middle east are trying to convert muslims

you make it sound like armed christians are going to these countries and shooting up the place if the dont convert

No, I'm not saying that at all. Don't put words in my mouth.

I'm saying anytime you have a Religion that believes there is only One Faith, One Truth, etc. and actively tries to get others to accept and practice that Single Faith your going to get resistance. Unless of course the people there are looking for Religious Faith or have already accepted yours.

Otherwise they're likely to resist any conversion. The same happens if another Religion tries to convert Christians to another belief, they resist.

I don't see what the problem is here. This is an obvious truth. Just use yourself in the example. Would you willingly switch to another Religion or would you resist it no matter what???

Here is a list of European nations that have been in at least one armed conflict since 1991. If a country does not appear they either have not participated in any conflicts or I couldn't find any info in my cursory look. Note that some of these include UN peacekeeping missions while others do not. It all came down to the sources I could find. For example, Ukraine only took part in three wars since 1991 but they have the most conflicts due to listed peacekeeping missions. That said no country listed only took part in peacekeeping missions.

Albania: 3
Armenia: 5
Austria: 1
Azerbaijan: 2
Belgium: 7
Bulgaria: 2
Croatia: 3
Czech Republic: 7
Denmark: 8
Estonia: 11
Finland: 1
France: 15
Georgia: 14
Germany: 4
Greece: 12
Hungary: 2
Iceland: 2
Ireland: 2 (I didn't count the Troubles even though it technically ended in 1998)
Italy: 9
Kazakhstan: 1
Kosovo: 3
Lituania: 2
Luxembourg: 2
Macedonia: 4
Malta: 1
Moldova: 2
Montenegro: 3
Netherlands: 8
Norway: 4
Poland: 5
Portugal: 3
Romania: 3
Russia: 13
Serbia: 5
Slovenia: 2
Spain: 6
Sweden: 2
Turkey: 8
Ukraine: 21
United Kingdom: 9

I never said I hated anyone or I hated God. You're making a good example of why people might take issue with Christians right now.

I already said I don't condone the persecution of anyone yet just because I see things differently than you, you label me as a hater of Christians and of God and imply that I support Islam. Let me make it clear. I don't support Religion. If you choose it, fine, that's your choice and I'm fine with it. It's not my choice however, are you ok with me making my own choices???

And you listed UN peacekeepers

Where is your source ?

If you don´t have a source pls tell all actions of war these countries have committed since 1991.

Now why majority of Islamic countries are not members of UN peacekeepers ?

If you're talking about a Muslim country then yes, of course. I'm not saying Christians alone are doing this. Any Monotheistic Religion will work the same way if it's the one were talking about. I just used Christians because that was the topic.

But go to a Muslim Country and what do you get?? A push for you to become Muslim. Well, if you're not Muslim you're going to resist. If you're a different Monotheistic Religion you'll resist to your death because your faith is so important that you'll die before changing it.

Islam in some places is forced on anyone who isn't already a member and anyone going to those places should be aware of that.

Sorry if I made it seem like I was singling out anyone. I wasn't trying to do that. That's why I tried using "monotheistic Religion" when possible.

There's also countries like Burma where the muslims are being persecuted and killed by the buddhists.

Everyone persecutes everyone, it's part of the endless circle jerk of savagery that is humanity.

The source was Wikipedia. Just search for List of Wars Involving *name of country.* And why should I include the Middle Eastern countries on my list when this is a list of European countries?

I did take a quick peek at the current list of countries that currently contribute to the UN Peacekeeping Force. One of the largest contributors was Egypt with ~7000 personnel. The largets contributor was surprisingly Ethiopia with almost 9,000 personnel. By comparison Israel provided no support, the US provided 61 personnel, and the UK provided 342 personnel.

Wikipedia thats not good source , you shouldn´t use it as a source as it is not credible.

These countries persecute christians in extreme level

1. North Korea
2. Somalia
3. Afghanistan
4. Pakistan
5. Sudan
6. Syria
7. Iraq
8. Iran
9. Yemen
10. Eritrea

This was the OP

Your list of countries are members of UN peacekeepers doing UN peacekeepers job. That is not war that is peacekeeping in violent territories .. which are ?

You are out of line.

For one I already told you your source is extremely biased. At the very least their premise is patently false. Homosexuality is illegal in 72 countries and carries a death sentence in 13. How many countries is Christianity actually illegal in?

That said, I premised my list with the admission that some of the listed countries included UN Peacekeeping missions. Not all. And yes, for the most part Wikipedia is a reliable source. If you disagree go through my list of countries. Check to see if they took part in the many conflicts. They provide sources right at the end of the article to make it easy for you.

You are out of line, you render Europeans as war mongers just because they are member of UN peacekeepers. That is insane.. really . If we were such a warmongers we would be in constant war with each other all the time here. Last time i checked i didn´t see grenades fallin in my neighbourhood and honestly i would like to keep it that way.

At least i got a good lol .. keep up the good work !
