Congratulations to Clemson and all their fans.

Clemson played a helluva game, didn't lose faith even when they were down 14-0. They deserve the Championship.

Alabama didn't play as well as they should have, and suffered with the loss of Bo Scarborough. The lack of depth in the defense started showing in the 2nd half.

Enjoy your time in the sun Clemson. Bama will regroup and Jalen Hurts is young.

Roll Tide.

Agreed. Good game all around.

Dethroned...

Nail biter last half...Jalen will do well in his college career, IMO, poise under immense pressure.

Next few years will tell, for sure.

I watched the game only because I'm in the ER with my girlfriend and her dad and we've been watching.

Respect to Clemson for taking a well-earned Championship. Great game, and I love when the underdog wins!!

Not the most ideal way to watch the game, for sure.

Hope your girlfriend's prognosis is good

Loving the underdog as well...especially when they beat Bama!

When a game comes down to a mere few seconds on the clock, you really can't beat it.
Clemson played with a lot of heart and the comeback was righteous.
Their whole season was pretty intense when you think about it.
I'm happy for them and now I get to go annoy a tide fan at work!

I dumped cable about a year ago so the game being on ESPN didn't help me.
At least the nfl is still on antenna tv.

Watched the game last night, was a really good game in the 4th Quarter.....but something caught my eye at the very end.

Start at 3:55 and look at the troopers eye.

If it weren't for the wife, I wouldn't have satellite/cable. Guess I'd have to go to a bar or something to get my fix. Either that or listen to Eli Gold.

She loves College Football as well, but she's one of those Auburn fans.

Clemson is my Alma Mater, my blood runneth orange, haha. So proud of the Tigers.

Deshaun 'Helicopter' Watkins = Amazing athlete. Dude had over 400 yards passing, plus the rushing yardage.

Check out the slow motion at the :20 sec mark:

Great job, Dabo Swinney and team. The Clemson Tide overcame the Crimson Tide!

Looks like he's looking for a sniper or other threat. Is that what you mean?

Please explain then. I was being serious. What did you see about the trooper's eyes, other than him scanning the area constantly. There was no smartass in my reply to you. Seriously sorry you took it that way.

I didn't really notice anything out of the ordinary either.

The trooper that follows Butch Jones has one of the most serious and stern looks I've seen. I suppose that's part of it, isn't it? Don't mess with him, in other words.

I think they have to scan the immediate crowd as they are the 'bodyguard' at that time.

Apparently, Alabama had crap for clock management in the 4th quarter and it cost them. Sabin just plain got out-coached. He was so overly reliant on the idea that no one could move the ball on his defense that they called some bone-headed plays on offense and played no huddle hurry up instead of taking time off the clock, ball control to try to hold on to their lead.
