Iran to expand military spending, develop missiles. "inconsistent with a U.N. resolution"

Iran you know the ones the Obama admin just gave over a cool billion$ to NOT develop ballistic missiles to are going to expand military spending by 5% including missile development. Who could have guessed that they would use "found money" to use for a military expansion.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iranian lawmakers approved plans on Monday to expand military spending to five percent of the budget, including developing the country's long-range missile program which U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has pledged to halt.

The vote is a boost to Iran's military establishment – the regular army, the elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and defense ministry - which was allocated almost 2 percent of the 2015-16 budget.

Is Iran on a collision course with Trump. Yes, yes they are and it is sad, the people of Iran DO NOT want to have the US as an enemy. They are a repressed people and I am heart broken to have an idea of what comes next.

But it could put the Islamic Republic on a collision course with the incoming Trump administration, and fuel criticism from other Western states which say Tehran's recent ballistic missile tests are inconsistent with a U.N. resolution on Iran.

Nobody cares.

Those billions belongs to the Iranians and much more (frozen assets--- put that in your mind), Iranians are not like Israeli leeches to be spoon fed by the American tax payers.

And believe me; nothing has been paid to smear the Iranians. Iran has a right to develop whatever she wishes for. Stopping the nuclear development has nothing to do with missiles technologies.

I think Iran are reacting to the situation , Trumps election and his reassurances to Netanyahu.
Can't say I blame them.

The world would be better off without the US.

Looks like Iran are putting the money Obama gave them to good use and throwing the useless Iran deal back over the fence.
Whilst the media worry about a travel ban, the big story is being largely ignored... Iran's test of a ballistic missle.

The money was returned to Iran as it was there's , at least he didn't have to pay the interest it would have accrued over the years.
