No just nastynessssss, cannibalism and such, they took it too seriously.

Death metal has turned into something it wasn't, the original band Death..was nothing like these guys..he stood on his music, not gimmicky imagery..and that is mostly what's going on here. He most definitely was not writing lyrics about the devil..more the human condition.

See now you are just stereotyping. I assure you the real cannibals of Borneo did not listen to Death Metal. Were they Satanists? No, they just enjoyed the tasty wholesome goodness of freerange corn-fed human.

The point is ... messed up humans can and do exist in all walks of society - and my Christian wife who listens to Death Metal would also agree with me.

No, I mean that listening to Death Metal is the cause of the nastiness being the stereotype. Or the trigger or gateway, if you will. The general mainstream belief that certain music, games etc cause things like mass murder or other extreme aberrant behaviour has been disproved many times. There just is no statistical link.

I personally think gangster rap is faaaaar more reaching a much bigger audience with it's questionable lyrical content..does it have an effect..I'll let y'all decide. I think only a weak or damaged mind is influenced enough by music to do dumb things inspired by.

Death metal doesn't get any better than this.
