Gun advocates rally troops for open carry fight.

SB 140 repeals laws forbidding guns on college campuses, in airports terminals, and at government meetings. Sen. Greg Steube, R-Sarasota, will introduce the measure to the Judiciary Committee Tuesday. Florida Open Carry Inc. urged its members to call lawmakers and tell them to line up behind Steube’s proposal.

For those of us who have been considering the conspiratorial aspects of this shooting, here is yet another coincidence.

Florida was set to consider a Bill that would allow the carrying of firearms in what were previously "gun free" zones.

Or what theyre more accurately known as: victim disarmament zones.

Many of you are already aware of the claims that the shooter was a CIA patsy:

Suspected Fort Lauderdale Airport gunman Esteban Santiago, 26, told FBI that CIA was forcing him to join ISIS.

And right on cue, the anti-2A minions are lining up:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), whose district includes the airport where the mass shooting occurred, said she plans to revisit rules for flying with firearms when she returns to Washington this week.

All the more reason for FL to pass the bill.

An armed citizen could have reduced the loss of innocent life and saved the taxpayers the trouble and cost of a trial and imprisonment.

i think you guys should all get guns, then take the cream of the top, and maybe the meek (us) shall inherit the earth.

What most progressives do not understand, is that a "sign" telling people it is "Gun Free" do not detter ciminals or those with mallicious intent from carrying into those places. If anything, it will encourage them to, becuase of it being Gun Free.

So Judge Dread for all citizens? An armed citizen also could have made it worse.

Just because you have an open carry law (I personnally do not care for), does not mean "everyone" are forced to carry a firearm. In cases like this it would not be "Judge Dredd", it would be a justifiable self defense. In most cases so far, when a shooter is conftronted with an armed response, they either off themselves or concentrate on getting away or defending themselves instead of shooting others. But yes, there is a small chance that an armed citizen could miss and cause added casualties (cops do that to), but at the same time, there is more chance that the perpertrator is carry more magazines to cause more deaths.

victim disarmament zones

Whatever, millions of people use airports every day in this country every day without any problems. Bringing in a bunch of guns will make it unsafe, not more safe and it's just stupid and insane.

This is pure lunacy so I'm not surprised it's supported here.

Exactly. Where do mass murder cretins go? To places filled with defenseless victims.

They attack movie theaters, malls, clubs, schools, not the local police department or gun range.

"Lunacy" is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. No one is saying we should bring guns into secured departure terminals or on board flights. Most laws proposed just want citizens to be able to defend themselves in areas such as baggage claims or arrivals (which are already are unsecured, except for that silly sign at the door).

Statistics and reality have proven your argument wrong many times over again. But we can ignore that aspect of it and instead concentrate on our feelings....

If he can legally open carry ... sure. To make an exception just because of his name or ethnicity would be racist no?

Sorry for the knee-jerk...

It would be a fluke if say Colorado would have been the state legislature to motion this direction?

I don't know what I mean by a fluke, it feels like that's the word to use.

Basically what i was alluding to in earlier threads due to the gun law changes, and as to why would the possible psyop shooter chose FFL. Or any airport "gun free zone" for that matter?

A "gun free zone" and or to seal the deal that airports remain as such. So was it an obvious opportune moment for someone who was ready to go off or just triggered for the moment? He targeted retirees who were headed for cruises(stereotypical-to say the majority of older people vote GOP- political statement?). Needless to say who carries only a gun with them when traveling and even returning home, as it's claimed he was living in Naples, FL(traveling to FFL for the flight apparently).

EU has orchestrated the shooting at the florida airport, not only to contrast this bill for open carry of weapons, but to blatantly blackmail the US and interfere in the presidential transition. All of this while MSM talks about russian hacking nonsense
