The US presence in the area is very well documented.

Three years ago, President Obama weighed military action against the Assad regime’s chemical weapons facilities as well as airbases housing the regime’s attack helicopters and jets. US Navy ships in the eastern Mediterranean were prepared to launch Tomahawk cruise missiles in a limited strike to cripple the regime. 

Russia deployed a separate air defense system, the S-400, to Syria after a Russian jet was shot down by a Turkish warplane last November.  Since the S-400 deployment, the U.S. military has been careful about flying  manned aircraft inside the range of the system, despite repeated pledges by the US military that its airstrikes in Syria are focused on ISIS, not the Assad regime.

Monday, the Pentagon announced it conducted an airstrike potentially killing a “prominent” al-Qaeda linked operative in Syria.  Officials said they were still assessing the strike and have not released the name of their target.

The more I think about it, this is Obama's way of leaving power.

He knew Russia had hacked, he even told Putin to, "Cut it out" months ago.

But his side lost and like a petulant child, is trashing relations, virtually "taking a dump" on the desk, before he leaves.

Obama gives up control of the Internet, 10-days later starts a Cyberwar with Russia. All BEFORE the election... The News Media plays off most folks inability to keep up, remember, or even know local, state, national, and/or international events. A few years back "PsyOps" turned into "Information Operations"... It's all Political Theater with a heaping helping of Smoke and Mirrors. These little tweaks of "memory" and media results in what today is referred to as the Mandala Effect.

They found the code on target systems. Code that anyone can purchase online if you know where to look. Is it possible the Russians developed this code like the US developed Stuxnet ? Probably so. Could it have been anyone implanted that code ? Probably so.
Just a ruse from our US government on behalf of the Obama/Clinton/DHS Triad

I still think Julian Assange purchased the malware and gave it to Seth Rich or some other insider who planted it. Anyone with the resources could have purchased this on the blackweb.

This was a DNC insider shur nuff . I doubt if Assange had anything to do with it , though . It was someone on the inside that found out something evil about Clinton , her "allies" , and the Clinton Foundation

Congress has been petitioning Obama to do that for the past 6 years! They're still not satisfied, and, not only do they want Trump to keep the sanctions imposed by Obama, but want him to impose even stricter sanctions when he takes office!
