Yes but this is all posturing and demonstration of power. People need to see their leader as being assertive. So, you set up events like missile movements to keep the people entertained.

All the while the President of both countries are talking behind the scenes to each other. "Hey Vlad I'm gonna move some missiles over here to keep my power perceived image up, just want to let you know so you don't get alarmed."

Keep the people rooting. It's all about keeping the masses entertained about their vote.

See this is all designed by psy-ops team. They script this stuff out. To keep the leadership position respected. Obama goes from being the calm rational leader to antagonist to aid Trump's transition to power.

It's like Days of Our Lives. It's a soap opera to keep the masses entertained. Until something serious breaks out like Kiev and the sniper shooting. Then you get conspiracy theories breaking out in Ukraine about American manipulation in Ukraine politics and that it was the source of the shootings versus some act of judgement by a Higher Power against servants of the beast using lethal Molotov cocktails on police officers. And I thought it was strange the police were being so patient with the use of lethal force against them without response, and that was when the executions started in Kiev.

Technically his term is up. Thankfully you can only be President for 8 years. That rule saves the moronic masses from themselves.

We need to add an amendment that your spouse cannot ever be President. ONlY 8 years, not 16 years. Even though you're only the spouse, you have been in the White House for 8 years. Move your As% out and don't come back! Any horror is possible with all the illegal voters.

This troop deployment has taken place before over the years .Nope it is the POTUS specifically trying to create drama since he was "voted out"

Just like they struck back at Iraq and Afghanistan who had nothing to do with 911. Most of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia.

Two possible outcomes present themselves.

a) When he is sworn into office, Mr Trump will remove these troops and place them back on station at their home bases.

b) He will decide to continue whatever foreign policy and military strategy as has been developed and enacted already, because it will be simpler than coming up with something of his own.

One of these would mean that this current action is useless and symbolic at most, rather than seeking an actual effect on the Russian forces or the Kremlin. The other would indicate that Trump will NOT be a change from business as usual, and that in fact, he will continue all the same nonsense as the outgoing administration, the administration before that, the one before that, and the one before that as well.

We shall have to see how this pans out.

There's going to be a third world war. Probability dictates it. Too bad people are too ignorant to prevent that from happening. You guys just choose to fuel the fire.

Well his party lost the election, his favored and endorsed candidate lost the election, and he personally said Donald Trump would never be president. And he appealed to people to vote for the person that would uphold his legacy.

Essentially it's like sports star that just retired from a team that just won the championship last year, and this year they lost without that player. They are going to feel bad....maybe even have a little bit of sour grapes over the whole thing.

Semantically Obama never directly lost, but conceptually he lost, as everything he did was not enough to influence voters who voted for him twice, to keep his party in power.

Or, the other possibility, is that this has happened every year for the last four years about this time in the same location, and it's now a 'tradition', because it's cold, miserable, wet, icy and you're in the area where you might have to engage Russia in the future. You get to practice your Slavic languages, all of which are in play at the same time in this region, so it's not only Russian, you got all the regional stuff to deal with as well. And there's several cultures in the area, so you get to run through your cultural update packs too. There's a bunch of guys right now trying to remember if they are supposed to bring small gifts or eat with their left hands, or that they don't whistle indoors, or if they're supposed to.

On top of which, all this banging around draws your counterparts in, and the Echoes are busy doing ELINT and SIGINT. The entire exercise is a fun, miserable event for every specialty from your language embeds to the foxes.

The "newspaper" in question is "The Sun", known as a "tabloid" like "The Express". They have the same owner and make sales from having the most eyecatching headline, such as "Missing B52 plane carrying nuclear warheads found on far side of moon" or "Scientists predict Planet Nibiru will return later in the year".

why does anyone care about this? why are people so scared. russia isnt iraq. they wont go to war with the US because they simply do not want to. its not gonna happen folks. anyone who can think critically can see this. they have methods to steer clear of an open war and they have shown time and time again that they know exactly how to use these methods. so come on.
