The sport has a lot of technique to get right.

But I'd be lying if I said, being around men wasn't a factor.

But, even straight men like their "buddy-time".

I always used to think the women were the "evil" ones.
Making dramas and causing fuss where their ain't no fuss.
But the thing with men is, they are usually up to something.

Not like guys typically do anything to calm the situation down.

I was just reading Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything (Doubleday: 2003).

On Yorkshireman Fred Hoyle, who apparently coined the term "Big Bang" in a 1952 radio broadcast:
