Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. According to Snowden, the NSA knows who hacked the DNC, but they will not give us the evidence; and to rely on circumstantial evidence for such an accusation, is foolhardy.

The proof of trying to influence (not the hacking) for me is all the nuclear war rhetoric (the most since the cold war) and the instant that Trump was elected that rhetoric stopped.

It is blatantly obvious. To me anyway.

You are amazing! You are also a rare breed! You are a Trump supporter with intelligence?1?! I believe that the USA is sleepwalking to wards Armageddon. The UK has seen several Incursions in to British airspace by Russian Jets. Of course the average Russian will fall for this sabre rattling by Putin as he is seen to be trying to make Russian great again!

I'M IND, it happens. Get over it. We influence most every election. That's the way politics work. Swallow it. Always been that way, always will be. Period. The people voted and the electoral college did their thing. You done yet, you mad? Your Demon spawn lost, boo hoo.

Someone clearly didn't read the OP properly.

Don't care if they stuffed the ballot box, as long as the witch bitch and democrats lost. The country couldn't survive much longer with them at the wheel. They were aiming at the iceberg and asking the engine room for more speed.

Besides, the next 8 years are going to be entertaining. The celebrity apprentice does Washington.

If we can get rid of the RINOs and replace them with real republicans at the mid-terms and general, Trump might actually accomplish something. The hate on some of the RINOs have for Putin is silly. Where is the evidence?

No nuke war with Russia unless the current dumb-ass in chief starts it.

I'm all for Trump going riding with Putin bare chested just to piss off John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

At least Russia was slightly subtle about it.

When the USA wants a new government in a country it just goes and bombs the hell out of said country (Libya anyone??)

All this angst over Putin / Trump's little bromance is quite hilarious.

You Americans voted him in.... The Russian Govt did not go to every single polling booth and choose who they wanted for President. That's on you Americans.

Now sit down shut up and hold on. I'm sure the ride will be interesting to say the least.

This is exactly the partisan mental retardation that is responsible for the decline and destruction of this country. "Oh hey, damn the country, damn security, damn system integrity, damn common sense, so long as the other side lost and we won". So stuck up your own partisan butt that you'd look away and sell out the country to foreigners for the sake of your side? Seriously?

This is on par with Bush and senator Hillary overlooking and covering up Saudi involvement, not just in 9/11, but terrorism and extremism, period. And now some dolts on the right are playing the same bedroom games with the Russians. and the Russians are going to be the new Saudis?

And people wonder why I support the various state and region secession movements in the U.S. to form multiple countries. United States of America? That country died sometime between 2003-2007. Have no clue what the hell this is.

I challenge you to name a presidential election the Russians HAVEN'T tried to influence. (Or the Chinese, or the Israelis, or the Saudis, or...)

How ridiculous to think this is the first time another country has played favorites in our Presidential politics.

As most of you know I am a Trump supporter but I have no doubt Russia did everything they could to try and influence our election and get Trump elected.

I have never seen so much imminent nuclear war talk at least since the 80s. Putin went so far as to tell all those reporters about how they have been making offensive weapons this whole time and how most Americans do not even realize the danger they are in.

He has the cities do nuclear war drills . So now that Trump is elected what happened to all the imminent war talk? I mean not a peep.

We have even gone so far as to accuse him of personally hacking the emails and retaliated by expelling people from the country and threatening sanctions.

And go figure no nuclear threats no war threats ,just we will wait and see what Trump does.

Why? Because he got what he wanted, Trump elected.

So why is it so hard for some of you to believe they hacked and or leaked the emails? It does not make a Trump presidency any less valid. Unless you can prove he colluded with Russia the whole time to pull it off.

People still voted on their own they were just more informed then the left wanted them to be.

I wish people would stop putting Putin the former colonel in the KGB on such a pedestal the guy is all ESTABLISHMENT.

Why is it so hard to provide the evidence that Russia did influence the election?

Tampering with out election is actually really ingenious. Because they realize that the best way to destroy the country is to raise the already existing divide within- so whether the US government comes out with it openly or not, the Russians gain points!
I suspect they shouldn't have gone public with it, even if it is true. But then I am not privy to all facts

I think you nailed it right there. Our country keeps so many secrets(especially embarrassing ones) that if it were true they would have handled it quietly. The fact that it was made public makes it reek of falsehood.

Not really partisan, just don't want any more of that socialist crap the progressives have been pushing. If it takes swindling, double-dealing or help from foreign powers, that's ok. I don't particularly want to love my neighbor, he's an ass.

I don't trust immigrants, legal or otherwise, that don't want to enter the melting pot and become part of the country. Pretty uppity of them comming here and demanding we change our ways to accommidate them.

As someone posted the other day, I just want to be left alone. Quit trying to run my life.

Whether the progressives like it or not, the "fly-over" lives matter.

Yes Clinton and Obama are/were trying their best to bring on at least another Cold War. I havent heard anything of anyone mentioning nuclear war except from the Liberal Loon side proclaiming Trump would start one...

Good Lord, Bravo to you!

I am glad some people are still attached to reality. I feel like the majority of Trump supporters are in a mass psychosis over it. It doesn't make Trump's victory less valid IMO.

I think it is very important to recognize that Russia is getting back in the game and these mofos are sleeping

How ?

And Hillary wasn't president so how is she liable?
I know trump repeatedly called it her administration but he's a moron who said what ever he needed to to get elected. She had no administration. It was never her and Obama it was Obama Biden.
But I guess he confused just enough people into believing him.
Every lie that flew out every time he opened his mouth.
Fact check was on speed dial for the media during his entire campaign.
His cult will never think that though. He walks on water. He's their God now.

To all you Trumpettes who are in denial, why would senior members of the Republican party go along with this is it were just fake?

that makes zero sense

Did they try.. sure..(just like we muck about in their elections) did it make a difference not really.

Dems had a laundry list of good candidates... they instead rigged things to put the absolute worst candidate they had up as president.

The more I think about it... the more I am certain this has to be part of a larger strategy by the democrats, saw a blurb that over the last 8 years they have lost over 1000 seats at state and federal level.

Republicans can almost call a constitutional convention without having to talk to a single democrat.

Now look at Obama's epic diplomatic temper tantrum as he leaves office... I have seem some refer to this as a scorched earth diplomacy, almost like they are trying to leave as big a pile of poop as possible for Trump to have to clean up.

Since Putin is playing nice and ignoring most of what Obama has done, trump will have to give some concessions when they sit and talk, that will allow the democrats to howl about him being beholden/working for/sucking up to the Russians.

The democrats seem to be looking to create a whipping boy situation rather than look at their own failures in an honest light and make the changes to stay relevant.

Or I could just be another Disgruntled Vet...
