Only 2% of the population of America can claim to be of true native origin. Fact is the rest are all immigrants to a fashion.

End of the day i think Mr Arpaio should consider the notion that "we are all Jock Tamson's bairns".

The one question the interviewer asked that should now be the focus is, why did the govt fake the document?
We know it's a fake, but why? There could be a number of reasons, but whoever ordered the fake to be produced and whoever made the forgery should be prosecuted.

At this point the conversation is more about the crime of forgery as opposed to Obama's birthplace/nationality. His mother was from Kansas and an American citizen (which I think is accepted by all?) so he was always eligible for the Presidency.

Two sets of experts in different parts of the world have independently tested and confirmed the document in question is a forgery. It's a closed case, proven beyond any reasonable doubt.

They never examined Obama's BC's, a simple fact birthers do not even understand.

Firstly the whole birther issue is over, and I do not subscribe to the old accusation that Obama was not eligible.
Secondly, the document in question is the image of the BC provided by the Obama administration. That was already discussed on another thread, so quit with the strawman argument relating to the actual physical copy of the BC.
Somebody in the administration commissioned and had provided a fake representation of Obama's birth cert. That is clear.
Now it would make sense to find out why.

Maybe its fake because the original simply did not exist any longer?

Its not like back in 1961 records were extensively maintained and recorded in the same manner as the information age in which we find ourselves today. Possibly the document was simply lost or destroyed?

Maybe "they" or TPTB simply substituted an approximation of the original in an attempt to stave off people like Sheriff Joe's attempts at character assassination?

Who knows or even really cares, like you said, the guy is obviously at least half American so where is the issue really?

That would make some sense. I think for everyone's sanity some of the recommendations made following the last press conference should be adopted to avoid this in the future (if and when it arises). That's probably the only good that can come of it a this stage.

No, it has not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. One of the "sets" of experts was only one man, Reed Hayes. He is a handwriting expert and only reviewed the eletronic pdf of Obama's BC. He did not review the actual BC.

Also, he has been a part of the Obama BC scene for at least a few years. He's not bringing anything new to the theory.

Forlabs, the Italaian forensic group, are experts in multimedia forensics, not paper documents. They also were not able to review the actual BC.
