That presents a bit of a challenge for those of us who do not think prophecy is typically objective enough to be reliable and also do not believe such a thing as "coincidence" is anything more than a human excuse to turn a blind eye to what cannot be easily explained by our limited understanding of the Universe.

It really matters very little in the end whether anyone foresaw this particular outcome. They are all simply moving parts in the same relentless, churning machine. Or, if you prefer, many heads of the same monster. And everything is going according to plan. We were never invited along before, and we certainly aren't now. This is way bigger than one country or government...and anyone who thinks otherwise is only kidding themselves.
