Those aren't things the "UN" has done, they are things people and groups have done which the UN gladly takes credit for!

The UN is just the peanut gallery cheering section, stealing everyone else's thunder.

Case in point; the UN did a bang-up job stopping all the genocide in Rwanda, huh? They came, they saw...it was ugly, so they left. Dang, if it wasn't for the UN...uhhhhh...never mind.

Now that I think about it, the MSM has been promoting and propagating completely unsubstantiated conspiracy theories at least since 9/11/2001.

However, having the MSM promoting and propagating completely unsubstantiated conspiracy theories that haven't been officially sanctioned by the U.S. government...I believe that is new.

The sooner everyone realizes his limits (and he's so severely limited by his life experiences ) the less disappointment we will experience.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a joke but it has proven itself ineffectual on important issues.
The world need a body like the UN but it does need to be reformed.

Well, I don't doubt that statement ruffled a lot of feathers of those ensconced and invested in the status quo of the United Nations scene but then, I would wager there are those who are frustrated with being a part of the U.N. and what it's not accomplishing and are glad he said it.
