Obama 'confident' he could've won a third term

I don't think enough of you are factoring in the effect that shredding the constitution so he could run for a third term would have had on the election. people would have been even more up in arms over that then the prospects of Hillary. trumps vision that he sold would have been even more eagerly eaten up.

This is a theoretical, everyone, including Obama knows he can't have a third term.

Unless you are saying, the law was changed and somehow a third term was allowed.

The Trump people would have lost it, probably in a dangerous way.

Theoretically, it looks good. In reality, it would never work.

For the past 8 and/or 16 years we have been told that even if we can't respect the man... respect the office.

How can I respect either when the man still holding the office is acting so disrespectfully to the office.

AS for his 2 terms, I am still alive, I didn't have to take up arms to defend our country, I was able to buy a house, have a daughter with my wife, pay off my car. I don't own stocks or retirement accounts so I didn't lose anything there. I have medical insurance through my wife so the ACA didn't affect me. I was able to purchase several firearms. I can't say his presidency was disasterous for me at this time, but I am not willing to chance another term with him OR with any democrat from here on out.
