But still, the study you provided seem to make a clear link between low pH produced by tumor and facilitation of metastases.

And not to reignite discussion on blood pH modification, it must be noted that this study state that the bicarbonate effect is not on blood pH but possibly rely on its buffering capability or through involvement of carbonic anhydrase activity, which is important to pH regulation in tumors.

No one ever said anything about cures. I am talking about additional and alternative options that assist with things like chemotheraphy, the recovery afterwards and from other types of illnesses.

I hope that you are in very good health but take it from those that have and do suffer daily, sometimes with crippling symptoms either from their illnesses, post recovery and/or the medication you eventually look into everything and anything that can improve your current situation.

I posted this video at the start of this thread and after reading so many responses, I have to say, if the nay-sayers are a good representation of our current medical opinion and mindset, cancer will NOT be cured anytime soon. I don't know how many of you have even bothered to watch the first of the 9-part series, let alone the whole series. I guess some will say (naturally!) that because mainstream medicine STILL hasn't found a 'real' cure for cancer, ANYONE who makes claims to the contrary MUST be lying or worse, a quack or a con-artist. How many of you naysayers have ever heard of Royal Rife, Henry Hoxsey or Dr. Max Gerson? I'm pretty sure that you'll probably parrot up hasty or mainstream medical 'authorities' who will or have proudly proclaimed that ALL of those individuals were absolute frauds, nothing to see here, move along, move along. How about the legal case of Wilk vs. the AMA back in 1987? Perhaps you've also heard of the Flexner report or the the cancer act of 1939 in the UK? As I said when I first started this post, the ONLY reason why I have posted this info is because farrr too many people have and WILL continue to die while those who KNOW better absolutely REFUSE to allow REAL cures to be made available because it would bring their heartless pharmaceutical gravy train to a screeching halt. I am NOT a doctor but the video series has many medical doctors from around the world as well as numerous other health experts who are quite candid about WHY cancer hasn't been 'cured' according to our mainstream medical authorities. Of course, since they are in the minority, they MUST BE lying because...? By identifying themselves, one would think that they would be taking t heir profession and their very livelihood into question as well. It depends on the tumour being targetted. It's effective when it works. Chemotherapy is just one tools to combat cancer. The biggest tool to combat cancer is lifestyle - diet and fitness.

If you think that cabbage water and ginger extract will cure your breast cancer, or your prostrate cancer, then good luck. However, accepting cancer and carrying on living without medical intervention is a legitimate option.

It's true that there's big cures on the horizon, at least in testing.. Whether they see the light of day or not is another story.
The universal cure someone mentioned is real and it breaks down cancer so fast that the liver cannot process it quickly enough and the patient dies from liver poisoning. They are looking at ways to slow down the process currently.

Keep in mind people that we are still using Cancer Therapy protocols in our hospitals from 1990's - late 90's. The reason why?
They have been tested for 20+years on enough people that they are deemed safe enough/effective enough to roll out. We have protocols from 2005, 2000 etc that are ready to go that are still in testing. That's how it works unfortunately.

I read a book one time that said they would never cure another disease after Polio. It destroyed a whole industry that was set up to treat Polio. People lost a lot of money. They claimed they charged forward for the cure because one of the doctor's wives got Polio. Maybe cancer is too big of an industry.

I have now read several of your posts across this particular discussion, firstly congratulations on your natural cures of the illnesses you have expressed above. As for your uncle that's miraculous news and I am certain he was delighted with that outcome and amazing extension of his life ridden with an awful disease. The problem I have is your mind set regarding natural remedies. There is no doubt that more research needs to be done on this topic as many people advocate natures way.

Last year I saw first hand two people come off chemotherapy due to foolish information like all your posts. One spent thousands on a vitamin c injection with various spices all imported from the USA. He spent thousands and ended up sat next to me having chemo for more aggressive cancer and at serious expense (not that money is an issue here) the other person was on a site like this and he posted himself from hospital on chemo as he also had aggressive cancer. People like yourself got in his head he went home and died with all the various treatment these folk forced on him. Chemo does not kill. cancer kills and some people are not as fortunate to only have a little of it or a type where spice, baking powder, unicorn poop will help.

The words you write can seriously effect people's lives and I for one am happy to have a mature conversation based on experience and facts both of which I have in abundance so just try and see a situation from a different side of the fence instead of sounding off nonsense that you have read on Wikipedia

Snake oil Salesman hits the nail on the head. Not only are they rich but also ruin any chance of getting healed as often medical proven treatment is too late or even more invasive due to the patient trusting and putting everything into these Fairy Tales, rapidly depleting chances of survival.
I am trying to bring down a said Snake OIL Salesmen who continues to spout his nonsense selling his books, making cash off the back of the sick and undermining top professors around the globe and various other charitable organisations involved in Cancer Research.
I feel the only justice would be a public flogging for these guys.
I also ask again that anyone who feels the urgency to spout this nonsense to bare in mind your messing with peoples REAL lives. Its easy from the protection of your desk and PC I understand that but your words have real effect so maybe please change your perspective a little. I understand your need to feel the urge to help due to reading a Fairy Tale but that is what they are Tall Stories. Work in facts with experienced people.
Also I asked every single person that treated my cancer if they would give their own children the Treatment I had (Infused chemo in Hospital on the bag 5 days a week for about 4 months) Given that on many sites people say that the doctors would not use it. Well I met a few that had had to have it and use it on them selves and loved ones so there you go!

I work in a hospital and I am yet to meet a health professional who wouldn't trust the treatments they promote.

I also find it laughable that those who want natural treatments criticize chemotherapy, not knowing that chemo drugs are made with compounds extracted from plants. Unfortunately it is scientific illiteracy that helps charlatans get richer and richer.

Plant Extract was in Cisplatin I know that for sure but golly that stuff made me sick beyond sick the thing I found is it easy unless you experience things first hand to spout nonsense. I will be honest and say I changed my opinion 360 I had all the conversations with the Drs about how alternative medicine would be a better option they basically said I would die I weighed under 8st I weigh a healthy 11.5 and was 14stone before the cancer set in. On Chemo I gained weight which people said was impossible. I was a shouter of Fairy tales but my opinion changed when I experienced it for myself and was in the system long enough to see how much these people want to cure the sick not kill them. I apologise previous acts and regret sometimes believing to much without getting the facts.

I learn every day and am one who will change my opinion like the wind if facts are presented to me. The Snake Oil Salesman is not that guy.

Hospitals rock by the way and I bet you have some amazing stories. I take my hat off to all healthcare professionals they have a more profound effect on peoples lives than they ever know and are Angles as per the bible.

Everybody have a different experience of chemo, because people react differently to any treatment and because each cancer is different. But we have thousands of studies and trials that show how effective chemo is and how well it works with certain types of cancer.

The example I always remember is Paclitaxel as it is a very common drug, and it's made from Pacific Yew.
