Nobody is saying He really meant Trump was King. I agree that it was kind of clever too. At least you admit to it unlike some others.

The way I see it is they made a slightly clever comparison in a subtle way that Trump is the New King and savior like Jesus was thousands of years ago. Not to be taken literally but more of just a way to kiss the butt of their new elected leader who they continue to think of with such admiration and praise.

The left then overreacts to it of course and calls them on it.

So they then try and act like they didn't mean what they meant and try to hide from it all and make up excuses.

It's so funny how everyone reacts. I'm getting slammed now too just for pointing it out. Everyone is so twisted up about everything now, I find it hilarious.

It's funny that after all this time and all my posts some of you actually think I care what you think of my opinions still. As if calling me names are going to effect what I write on here. It's not going to happen. I'll still be posting my comments, good and bad, for my own entertainment or to spread some information or for whatever reason regardless of what you think of it. If I were you I'd just sit back and enjoy it if possible or ignore it. But insulting me won't do it. Just a little gift from me to you....

If they never said it to begin with then why would they try and explain it??

Why would you try and correct a statement that was never made to begin with??? How does that work???

If you check back you will see that I have not claimed that this was never said. I said that I have not yet seen anything that completely convinces me that it was said as was claimed by the article in The Hill. As I am not the one making the claim of the truth of this statement it is not incumbent on me to produce evidence to the contrary.

No more absurd than some of the lefts saintly portrayal of Hillary during the election, and many still refusing to acknowledge any wrongdoing on her part or how terrible a candidate she was.

Both extremes are ridiculous on either side. I think it's one extremes push back vs. the other.

I didn't vote for Trump, but if I could go back in time I would now. If for no other reason than to have one more vote to educate the left who's policies I mostly agree with and mostly fall on the side of of where we're going wrong.

Hillary did not and does not represent us, she was a crooked crony capitalistic political mercenary. Yet too many on our side continue to defend her and their defense of her simply because of the D while demonizing Trump and treating anyone who voted for him or not for Hillary as some kind of ignorant bigot.

No, the right did the right thing this time, I'm not sure Trump is the right person, but the right at least had the integrity to tell them NO when they tried to push another crony dynastic candidate on us. How did Jeb Bush do?

Instead of bitching and moaning about the right, LEARN, ADAPT, IMPROVE and practice some goddamn INTROSPECTION.

Until the left stops bitching and making excuses and starts learning, all hail king Trump. I'm not voting left until we start putting forward people that actually represent and stand for us again. I will not support someone simply because they have a D. That's not representation at all. Accountability people.

Talk about a bunch of triggered snowflakes.

I totally agree. The left was trying to make Hillary seem lovable and caring. Which is hilarious because just making her look human is pretty much impossible.

The degree of BS coming from either side has reached epic levels. To the point of pure comedy.

I just think it's funny to spread that comedy around to new people sometimes and see what happens.

Wouldn't ya know it....More comedy comes from spreading it too!!!

Happy Holidays.......In a f*cked up Wonderland......

Odd....I don't recall insulting you.

I'm glad people post whatever here...makes life fun.

And no, I wouldn't claim they didn't say it because I know they did. I find it funny that people are up in arms over it. It was rhetoric that is apparently over the heads of many. It was said by the GOP, not Trump. They likely figured people would understand rhetoric but apparently miscalculated the IQ of libs to grasp this. Now they have full retard happening because of this miscalculation.

Either way, you posted this to the Mud Pit, so if people criticize or insult you or your thread here, it is by your own doing.

Anywho...I love a good debate and will always engage.

I didn't mean you insulted me. I meant some others. Sorry, I didn't make that clear. That's my fault.

I had to post it to the mud pit though. Since implying that this was news would be shameful and I couldn't go that low.

Plus, I wouldn't have got back some of the responses I've got had it been placed elsewhere.

I admit it. I'm a pig who loves a good tumble in the mud now and then with my friends at ATS.

Now, go love your family's and open gifts people. Why are you even on here anyway???

Well...try searching the quote....you'll see the outrage. I haven't tried to correct any record so not sure who you're referring to. Your ignorance and inability to discern what you think from what I wrote is glaring.

Triggered snowflakes are the ones posting stories about the quote....

It has been my experience that those splendid soldiers who carry that weapon in your avatar have an excellent understanding of English. Being triggered does not mean the same as not accepting something as truth without first solidly establishing it as a fact.

Honestly, that statement could refer to Trump or it could be a reference to Jesus. He is called the new-born king quite a bit in regards to Christmas.

I think it's more troublesome that these politicians try to pay lip service in order to appeal to religion.

Basic propaganda.

Do you have any solid evidence beyond what was posted in The Hill that Prebus actually said this? If so produce it and I will withdraw my remark.

How about you actually visit the page, and follow the link.... if you had done that you would have seen....

gop.com...

this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King

But funny how you did not bother to do something as simple as visiting a webpage and following a link!

Dont be so harsh, hes a trump fan, you know low iq, not too quick, just enough words for twitter.

The anti-Trumpettes have gotten so much wrong that even now they believe they are the smart ones.

A trump win does not change the fact that you guys arent the smartest folks.

Chairman Reince Priebus probably does see Trump as a new messiah. I quess we shouldn't be to surprised at the comparison of Trump to Jesus.

just so I get this right,

Hark the herald angels sing "Glory to the newborn king" Peace on earth, and mercy mild God and sinners reconciled Joyful all ye nations rise Join the triumph of the skies With angelic host proclaim "Christ is born in Bethlehem" Hark the herald angels sing "Glory to the newborn king"

this was a mandella effect that prophesized Trump being the new king, although the song was written a few days before Trump was elected.

Are you idiots really this #ing stupid?
