I thought it was Obama because he was POTUS and Times man of the year in 2012.

It's only fitting that the mantle be given to the most controversial and talked about figure in the years to come, someone who I'm sure will have no shortage of topics on this board.

Right. Trump is Time's 2016 Person of the Year and Potus in couple of weeks. Make sense.

Another thread about this? Wow. Such impatience out there in the age of instant gratification, yeah? I think it's possible that they have not changed it because Obama is not actually "out" just yet. Like it or not, he is the current President of the United States. That would be the proper thing to do.

But if the owners are looking at this thread, I would like to suggest the Ouroboros as an icon. That's what politics is, after all. Forever eating its own tail and being reborn, over and over and over. Just one churning serpentine construct, built on the backs of the loyal masses. This is also an international site, and their governments are no different from ours in that regard.
