And if you old guys did drink the ski area dry and someone told you there was more booze at the bottom of a ski slope which of you would be made to volunteer to go and get it? Or would you just be squished in the stampede?

Obviously squished.

I see a little square box with an 'X' in it.

Rubber kids. Somebody once said something about "Utes being wasted on the young" I think it was Joe Pesci. Anyway, amazing how they bounce back (literally). Most of the ski patrol's job is yelling, "Hey slow down!" and carting off the old folk that run into trees somehow above tree line.

Glad to hear you have not resorted (ha!) to drinking Russian bath lotion!!

Of course the best resorts offer these:

It's a Skitty (skiing kitty).

They can perform many small services for the guests including fetching drinks, in the manner of a St. Bernard. Your skitty can tempt you with chatreuse or advocat, for example*

*and that's the best examples I got at the moment.

That's what it's really all about.
They grow up so fast...then they put you in a home.

It's not you; It's me.
...Another Image posting 'Fail' on my part.

Gonna keep practicing...but don't want to mess up DBC's fine thread (anymore than I have).

Well, the trip is over, the adventure done.

We came back to civilization early to avoid storms, snow, ice, and the place ran out of booze.

Some pro tips to consider when venturing out into the wilds with family.

#1. They will eat you and cheat at bridge.

#2. Yelling, "Help! I've fallen into a snow drift!" will get you nowhere. Saying, "Hillary won the popular vote and Bernie Sanders is awesome" will get you everyone and they will even bring torches to keep you warm.

#3. Not all uncooked meat is "steak tartar".

#4. When driving in snow, always drink a bottle of bourbon as you drive. Everyone knows that drunk drivers are more careful.

Thanks everyone, hope you enjoyed sharing in the adventure.

Some questions. . . .

Do toes grow back after they fall off because of frostbite?

I know everything eventually thaws. . . but when do they usually find the bodies?
