It's the best way of disclosing the movie I think.

Rutger hauwer is to old to be a replican again and they could made plot that he was a Dr too and made a copy of himself , that Deckard retired but that's another story that Disney could use if they buy the movie copyrights and continue the bladerunners. .

An interesting premise would be to explore the 'Decker is a replicant' more. Does he discover what he is? And does the hunter now become the hunted? There are some serious possibilities for this movie.

Well alright, but I don't remember seeing anything in the movie to tip off that he was, and I saw the movie umpteen times.

Not sure how a unicorn cut scene does..

It's been a LONG time since I've last watched this classic but I do remember, particularly the first time I saw it, waiting for the one more twist that showed him to be a replicant.

It's good that I have plenty of time to revisit the original before the sequel comes out.

I'm with you on that.
Although all the money in the world doesn't make a good story, I know what you mean.
I guess we'll have to trust the director, I've only seen two of his films: Prisoners and Arrival, and they were both good story-wise, in my view.
Plus you have Ridley Scott producing and overseeing, we can only hope.

Also I hope Harrison Ford does a better turn than what he did on The force Awakens, as he obviously did that one just for the paycheck, he said it himself, lol
