Incidentally, it's not the Electoral College any more.
It's the Electorial College. Five syllables. I noticed this from a couple of states.

However it is spelled in the Constitution ...

Article II (Article 2 - Executive)

4: The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.

But does the constitution specify how the word will be pronounced?
I suppose the mind is unconsciously drawn into "electorial" because words ending in "-rial" are more common in English than words ending in "-ral".

Note the word Chuse that is the old way of spelling Choose very British.

it can be said it is Archaic English but still correct.

Electoral Pronounced Elec - Tor - al ( as in All ) The i is unnecessary just lazy mouth.
Chuse Pronounced Choose
Colour Pronounced Color
Teat Pronounced Tit

etc.

John Kasich, Ron Paul, Colin Powell, Bernie Sanders, and Faith Spotted Eagle all received at least one electoral vote. This is one for the history books if this stands.
