Differences of opinion and fighting online doesn't take precedence over our humanity.

ATS isn't real life. What you're dealing with is.

I hope you're ready for a fight and that you are victorious.

I have a particular visualization I'll share with everyone... It's Spring, warm and sunny out and I'm on my way to Dana Farber in Boston (where I'm treated) and there's thousands of people in the streets, confetti and cheering everywhere, cars honking, tears of joy etc... because all cancers have become curable.

That's a good one...

Don't forget the one where we spend some lovely time on a warm beach by a beautiful sea. Getting sh!tfaced - among other things. I'm not sure it's a visualization so much as it's something I'm counting on

:-)

You already know how I feel, but, just in case you forget - you're one of the toughest people I've ever known. You got this

Love ya Kali

I wish you the best man. We don't ever agree, but you don't deserve whats happening to you. I hope with all my heart that you beat it.

Kali, my heart goes out to you. I had cancer around 5 years ago and my biggest fear is that it could return in other areas of my body. I went through the chemo and radiation too. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. If you ever want to talk in a private message, please don't hesitate.

Thank you. Boosting up the anti-oxidants is for after chemo. We actually want my cells weakened right now so the chemo can kill as many cancer cells as possible. My brother is in touch with a juicer guy.

Don't really know you but I hope you beat this and I will pray for you also. I watched my mom die from the same cancer over 20 years ago when she was my age. Well,I just turned 58 so I'm one year younger but right there, you know? I know treatment has come a long way since I watched my mom go through this, and she refused the chemo opting only for the radiation. She died very quickly, although not easily. The best thing I ever did was quit smoking after something like 27 years. It's been over 16 since I smoked, I was just barely younger than you when I quit. Anyway, just want you to know I'm pulling for you too.

Oh that's horrible to hear!

No one wants that for anyone. This place and the world would be poorer without you.

Hang in there.

kali my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I hesitated to click you post. I didn't want to here the how's and why's of your diagnosis. And now I want to push some well established alternative possibilities on you, but I won't.

Much I would like to say but will leave it with wanting only the best for you and peace for you and your family. Will think of you often as you fight.

What do you say to a stranger that has just shared the most private of thoughts and emotions...
Anything I can think of seems meaningless, at any rate, I'm sorry.
I have heard great things about the success rate of The Cancer Institute. They seem to have a different approach...have you had any communication with them?

Kali, tonight I promise you a heartfelt prayer from New York. I will pray often, my friend in this great life mystery.

Very sorry to hear that. I hope that whatever happens you and your family manage it well, though I'm sure none of it will be easy.

I wish you the best.

I hate seeing threads like this. The Dreaded Cancer. It Sucks. I hope you beat this, I really wish you well. More and more people are surviving it and i pray you do.

I'm a smoker and your thread has motivated me to see my doctor this week to get assistance with quitting. I've tried before but i dont have good willpower. Lately i get winded just walking up a tiny hill, and i keep saying ive got to do it.
After reading your posts i'm more determined to quit and i hope it's not too late.

Thank you for sharing your story. Best wishes

You're welcome. As to a juicer or juicing, I suggest a blender instead, because the pulp is good, even the skins of all the fruits and veggies you add, including Pineapple believe it or not that has bromine a digestive enzyme.

Just throw it all in with your various powders and superfoods, whatever you can get your hands on, and blend. Total vitamin, mineral, nutrient, protein infusion - your cells will almost shout for joy!

It's like a death and resurrection that you're going through right now, and I believe that you'll come out the other side and into a new life of health and wellness and happiness and a newfound level of gratitude and love (not that you're not already).

Just get better so we can keep arguing on ATS.

That's all I ask.
