Its within his right. Although it was a transparently ridiculous move.

I think had he taken the rather McCarthistic approach of collecting a list (and it been made public) I would have similar views.

@ theantediluvian: You're one of the few real treasures on this site. You're insight however is wasted among most of the proletariat on this sight who consider it a moral and strategic victory to deny actual evidence (as made apparently clear by the fact they are all arguing that climate change isn't real, isn't man made, and is nothing to worry about). Take some comfort that although their pig-pigheadedness will likely cause quality of life around the world to drop, it will also make their lives that much more miserable (and shorten them as well). I can actually take some comfort in knowing the man they voted for president will actually raise their taxes to enrich himself at the expense of the very air we breath and the water that we drink. Who needs air and water when you've got Pepsi and whip-hits right?
